I mean, it's not as simple as switching SD cards (if that's how it came off as, sorry). Just don't worry about your saves and whatnot; the transfer process is quite painless.
Yes, it does; the transfer process merges the eshop accounts.

No, yeah, I know about how you actually have to transfer (not that I exactly know the intricacies of it, lol), but I just wanted to make sure it would be easy and it would also be easy to get New Leaf on my main SD card.

I've got a 32 gig in my current 3DS now. I haven't downloaded anything new since I did the 2 gig > 32 gig transfer so I treat it as such.
Ahh I got you. I wouldn't mind getting a larger card, but the only big game I plan on downloading is the new Phoenix Wright game later this year.

lol. Yeah I'm sorry. I have both but my Vita gets little love. There hasn't been anything good for me since Soul Sacrifice and PS+ has pretty much given away all the good games I need. Hope Sony steps up their game cuz it's a great system.
