I don't want to post the questions because it would mean me copying the whole article. The 3 questions deal with clarification on online DRM, registering games and used games.

Sony's response from a rep
I looked into this, and at this point we’re not providing any additional clarification beyond what we stated around the PS4 announcement. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to keep you posted

This is what MS should've done, instead of having representatives say different things and cause further confusion.

Their original statement was incredibly vague, 'used games will work'.

Used games will work on the XBone too. It just costs money. I expect they will have a similar system.

I'm just wondering, if it will be DRM, how the hell they plan to break it to us. If at all

Surely they won't just come out and say it

EA killed their DRM. That should be telling.

Did MS every said all games would require the connections?
Maybe both MS and Sony will let publishers decide.

They aren't even trying to spin, they are just standing still. Probably a good move with E3 around the corner but I trust that Sony is not dumb enough to do the used game thing at this point. Not after the reaction MS received.

They're being understandably quiet, but at the same time, this thing will release eventually, and we'll finally have all the yes/no answers, even if they have to come from us.

Though sometimes it seems companies are so secretive that you wonder why they bother releasing the product at all if they don't want such secrets known.

"What's the console look like? Shut it down, no one must ever know!"

Seems to me they are biding their time and given the reaction to microsoft, something must be going behind back doors. No info before 10th Of June, none at all will come from them.

I bet they don't want to say anything because they are waiting to make it a big E3 surprise that their console has no used games DRM stuff.

Kotaku tried to do something useful, but it still comes off as sleazy. Why?

But publishers can't go anti used games without online requirement, and PS4 doesn't need online.

You can block used games outright without online, CD key is all that's needed. Trading a single game multiple times is where it becomes an issue either that or don't allow installs.

There is no reason for Sony to play their used game hand before Microsoft's E3 press conference, even if it turns out to be Sony are supporting used games.

Because they are just trolling for hits and knew they wouldn't get answers.

Are you saying they shouldn't bother asking?

Anyway they got a typical vague, PR response so it looks like we will have to wait until at least E3 before we get any kind of solid answers on this.

I have a feeling all PR on this issue from both companies will be vague until we actually see it in practice. I'm certainly not expecting any clarification at E3 on this.

Answer seems really vague, as they did not even reiterate what exactly has already been said.

Perhaps a bit worrisome, but E3 is what, 12 days away?

If I'm doing it right, lack of absolute confirmation involves me having to immediately jump to the most negative outcome??

PS4 is doomed..

Not really, will pre-order when prices are confirmed and it isn't really £599
