I bet Dragon Age 3 is going to look great presentation-wise then I remember the abysmal DA2 and the lost Grey Warden from 1.

Remember, Bioware are the only ones that said next-gen wouldn't be much of an improvement over current gen.

Expect the same old shit they have been doing all this time only with slightly better textures.

I bet their characters will still have shitty facial animation.

the only thing I'm looking forward to is more epic glitching!

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that. Although, they did say that the levels will be more open so I wouldn't write them off. I'm actually perplexed that they shipped DA 2 with a straight face. What an abomination, there's not a single thing I liked about that game.

How is EA going to topple Activision if they keep their games to one platform?

I see timed exclusive DLC for future Xbone EA games, but that is about it for the most part. I would be shocked if EA decided to go full exclusive to any platform.

No chance of exclusivity for all of their games. It would be a dumb business move and the investors wouldn't have it.

For europe with DVB-T that could be huge.wonder if its possible to do a US version with OTA tuner? Does the US have digital transmissions now?

dream PS4 game? Jumping flash along with oculus rift support

I was thinking the same thing. Sony might do a demo of the semi vr headset they had at the Tokyo Game Show last year or MS may demo a kinect game with the oculus rift.

Psi Ops 2
This was a really good game, too bad Midway Games is no more. I wonder if Warner Bros bought the rights when they acquired Midways assets.

my one game would be Blue Stinger
lol

A warm welcome to the new Gaffers. No better time to join the party! If you're interested in having your avatar Kazified/Cernified, just ask. :)

This will be the third time I have asked various people (not sure if anyone sees my posts on here, lol), but I would love my avatar Kazified or Cernified, whatever looks dopest!!!!

If it is not too much trouble, could you both kazify and cernify my avatar, preferably with Cerny in the pink and Kaz in the green? Thanks

surprise it's lasting this long without a substantial leak.

Sony has been doing decent job on the games front lately, Killzone Shadowfall and Infamous SS has been in the works for years and we didn't hear anything about them.

Also they've been keeping us distracted by only talking about games at the reveal, I have a feeling they're going to blow us away at E3.

Seems a lot of new accounts has been approved recently, including mine. NeoGaf servers down on the E3 day confirmed. lol

so, do you think mirrors edge 2 will be on ps4 as well?

With Mirrors Edge 2 though, it's rumoured to be a game that was started and then scrapped several years ago (much like Bayonetta 2), so it would be within reason to assume that if MS paid to have the project resurrected then they may have rights to it as an exclusive.

A hypothetical scenario, but one well within the realm of possibility.

Did Mirrors Edge sold really well?

I finished the game but I honestly don't get the hype behind it, It was ok at best.

If it were a suggestion apropos of nothing I'd be fine with that. In the same way people could say that about Road Rash, or Burnout.

But it's only come about becuase of a retail listing.

It sold alright, didn't do massive numbers. Obviously this is one of the main reasons why a sequel was never released. But it has certainly gained a fairly large fan-base over the years.

It's a good game to bring in the hardcore audience, not sure of it's mass apeal.

I see, I guess it could appeal to it fans, but the way it's being hyped by some is as if it's a big system seller.

We're still ten days away and i'm already feeling the urge to go into Gaf blackout mode to avoid spoilers. All these retailer lists showing every sequel imaginable is unnerving. Might have to take a ten day GAF vacation.

Sometimes smaller games sell well during a systems first year on the market due to the lack of a strong software line up.

Also I think many of us on GAF are just big fans of the first game and would like to see a sequel happen, so the hype is more just excitement. Same deal with TLG - I don't expect that game to move systems for most typical gamers.
