Things just happen so quick in that game, and things are so unexpected. Plus there are a limited number of lives.

The new Rayman probably won't be very challenging, especially since they said it will be more accessible than Rayman Origins which from what I played, wasn't that bad at all. Nothing compared to Rayman 1.

That's really hard to pick, with different difficulty settings and what not.
It was probably that YuYu Hakusho tournament fighting game on ps2.

It's was really just cheap; I spent 2 full days trying to beat the last boss.

I mean, to know something is going to be shown is one thing but to actually see it for the first time is other completely different. Especially in this case, for such a waited title.

I think the big thing with Versus XIII / XV is that many, including myself, are expecting this to be the game that puts Square down the path of redemption after a generation of let down after let down. Seeing it on PS4 is surely going to be a sight to behold but the feeling that this could re-kindle the flame at the company is just as big.

As for most difficult game. I am going to go with Socom Confrontation. Socom online is unlike anything else. There are not only very skilled players but very skilled groups of players that work extremely well together. Which makes winning a round against such players when it is 3 on 1 and everyone is watching from the dead room the most heart pounding moments I have had in gaming ever.

Final Fantasy just doesn't excite me anymore. Really the only reaction from me would be a "meh".

Seeing Versus at all - a.k.a. not cancelled after all these years - will give me massive hope I can dream and get hype about Square JRPGs again.

Linked Image size has nothing to do with NeoGAF's page serving. The images are coming from servers that are not NeoGAF's. Doesn't affect GAF at all.

What probably affects GAF the most are the posting scripts all being fired at once.

If the image is linked its fine, as long as its not embedded. I think this was something that was warned against during the Feb reveal.

Interesting.

Even if the image is embedded it's STILL contacting a different server so I still don't see how it can affect GAF's servers...

Perhaps the warning was just so that peoples' browsers didn't slow down if someone posted a bunch of large GIFs.
 
Just wondering, any hints on betrayals in this conference?

yeah most likely its that, multiple gifs on the same page.

I think that prolonged time to load pages though is taxing the GAF servers more than if it were all just text and loaded in a second or two. could be wrong but the hit on the server would seem to stay until the page is fully loaded which would take longer if there is a 100+ MBs of gifs on a single page.

Did you play NG+. I'm the opposite. I found dark souls real easy but that may be due to me already playing demons souls but on the whole its a lot less punishing. Also found it a bit boring towards the end.
 
everyone seems to be excited for SONY's conference and why not? I just hope SONY doesnt become complacent by winning this war within months after ps4's release.They are focusing a lot more on first party next gen in terms of quality as well as quantity

be very exited for E3, i swear if they don't show versus 13 some bad shit is gonna go down at E3, i can already picture the crazy (no disrespect) FF fans going bat shit insane! lol
 
FF8's music barely misses my Top 5 FF music list (although The Castle is my 5th fave FF song)

As for toughest Playstation game to beat....well I wouldn't have the faintest idea. I would just God of War 1 since I never owned a PS3 and that was nearly the last PS game to annoy me somewhat

The waiting game for Final Fantasy Versus or The Last Guardian, it's already 7 years and counting. The wait will end soon though, I guess.
Seriously though, Technomage from PS1. That game literally made me throw up.
 
I don't know if its the hardest game, but getting through Killzone 2 on elite has caused me enough anger and rage to go super saiyan 3.

Funny, I just finished doing that two days ago. Radec was extremely tough, but not as infuriating as my first go about through the game on regular hard.
