lets be real, all 15 exclusives wont be triple A budget blockbusters. At least half will be kinect kiddy games. That leaves 7-8 games that the core gamer will like, with half of that 7-8 being sequels ala forza, Gears? halo. so that leaves up to 4 new ips. Thats not that great compared to Sony's offerings

Nope, more than 8 will be core. These 15 have to span this holiday, 2014, and holiday 2014. At 3 a piece that's already 9, but they usually do pretty good during holidays, even the latter years.
Hence why people expecting kinect and casual galore are crazy. There will be some, but there will be more core games.
And they won't be at the expense of core games either, now they have dedicated studios for Kinect the don't need to throw Lionhead, Rare at it anymore.
Majority will be core, you will have a few kinect games (sports fitness etc)

XBLA will be interesting though... They said there's no such thing as XBLA... It's just "games" now.
Which makes sense as they are pushing towards DD...
I hope they have a bunch of decent lower tier titles lined up, though.

We're getting 15 games. 8 are new ips. Microsoft has like 27 game studios or something like that. Even more new ips could be in development. Good times.
8 new ips would that include kinect centric games?
hopefully they start releasing games monthly instead of just at the end of the year. even if its smaller titles it'll be good times.
Can bet on that just for the holidays now, they have 15 'core' studios/teams who are on 2/3 year dev cycles. That doesn't even include the likes of Remedy ect.
I just hope we don't have a terrible drought like 360 first year

If between first party and third parties I see 5 titles of interest coming at launch or within a few months of launch, they'll get my money. I only want to buy one new console but I'm getting the feeling I'll be buying both. I'm probably hyped too much, which I should have learned after the Sony and MS reveals is a big mistake.

Seriously even 7/8 out of 15 are Kinect games,and these Kinect games are awesome,casual gamer still won't buy them all and at least 4 of them sales will flopped hard,history already show that

Microsoft barely developed 7-8 "kinect kiddy games" across the entirety of Kinect's life on the 360. That would be an unprecedented casual push from Microsoft, and that doesn't gel with what they're saying. I think most if not all games will utilise Kinect in some way, but likely not in an intrusive wavy-arm way. There might be 2 or 3 family-focused Kinect titles from Microsoft, but that isn't the audience expected to commit to an expensive early adoption and third parties will comfortably produce an abundance of dance/sports/fitness titles to fill any gaps.

Quantum Break is a new IP, and supposedly not in the launch window, so even Quantum Break, as exciting as that game made me, isn't one of the 8 new ip. Excited!!!!!

Look closely. The button is buttoned but the fabric that covers the buttons aren't covering them.
Only 8 more days until E3! I'd love to see Remedy on stage playing Quantum Break. If MS doesn't show any live gameplay at all (excluding CoD) I will be extremely worried.

I think they'll reveal it earlier, if it's really happening, although not necessarily at E3. Gamescom is another candidate.

Well as its planned 15/8 games to be released until around November 2014 plenty of time for Forza 5 to be shown and PGR5 to bes shown as a summer 2014 release without taking sales from Forza 5.
15 Games plus COD seem to be a lot shown in a 90 minute show, still think we will see some as a montage and more info at a later date (Gamescon E32014).
Surely they will show some 360 stuff, i cant see them cutting it off totally from the conference, maybe some GTA5 perhaps. We must see something about how live is going to work on the new console and if anything like PSN+ will come to it. They say they want to only show/talk about games but I as a potential customer want to know about used games always online and everything else they have changed their mind/gone back on over the last week or so.

It would be strange having two racing games competing against each other for hype IMO.
On another note, what do you guys think Epic are doing? I've read posts saying they're no longer doing AAA games. I'm assuming they are making a showpiece game for UE 4, which I think could end up XO exclusive.

The mini 360 that was supposed to be plugged into the Xbox One was scrapped because it was too convoluted and confusing for consumers. They're releasing a model of the 360 instead codenamed Stingray. Look for an announcement at E3.
EDIT: Clarification: The scrapped model was basically an add-on that allowed Xbox 360 games to be played on Xbox One. Stingray is a redesign of the Xbox 360.
