I say fake, but would you really be disappointed with that? I wouldn't. 3D Mario, Mario Kart, SSB, Retro's game and a little time for third parties (which is something I don't specifically care for in a ND but it's always a plus). Sure, I would like to see X and Bayonetta 2, but this wouldn't disappoint me.
It's disappointing because it's predictable.

Fake.

I think it is fake too, but I'll just throw this out there:

Nintendo might have tried to do a scheduled upload, but accidentally published it. It's a mistake I have seen happen before.

Except Bill Trinen is still in Japan, as we speak, doing NoA prep for the Direct, and there's no way it's finished yet, let alone uploaded to YouTube.

OMG GUYS LOOK AT THE LEAK THAT JUST HAPPENED! YOU GUYS JUST MISSED IT!
aOqS6Mj.png

SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING NINRUBBISHNO WOULD DO SO I'M GOING TO ASSUME IT'S TRUE KTHXBAI

Well we are getting 3 or 4 new games trailers (SSB4, M3D, MKU. maybe Retro) so I would like to guess that they would like to save some surprise games for next few Direct.

The guy wants new IP regardless on quality (like 3D marios being considered top games) or frequency (4th Smash game which has huge gaps between each release) on the games.

Elesias is the one who wrote the article on the french website guys.

And until I get an answer, I say it's him/her that made that fake.

It's disappointing because it's predictable.

Fake.
I can understand that, but still. Mario Kart, SSB and 3D Mario are always predictable for a new system but it doesn't mean people won't get excited. Plus, Retro! Surprises could be under the "third party" bit.

Ah wth, why am I discussion something that's clearly fake.

Well, to be fair, remember last June when gaf though there was barely a snowball's chance in hell the Wii U would get Watch_Dogs?

Anyway, you're not the first one this morning to say that seeing this FAKE list (even knowing and acknowledging that it's fake) has affected your expectations and caused disappointment. How asinine is that?

Yeah I'm not really disappointed because to be fair I love E3 and all this hype but at the same time I realise that worst case scenario we get jack all and I continue playing my backlog you know? Obviously I want more games and the better the Wii U sells the better it is for me but at the same time I don't want to get too emotionally attached when things go downhill. If this Direct is amazing? HUZZAH! It sucks? Oh well.

That said I guess I'm a tiny bit upset with the fact that it's a believable lineup from Nintendo. If that's how the direct turns out I'd be fine and hey we get SSB and Retro's game! Add 3D Mario and Kart and the fact that I'll be getting Animal Crossing that week and I'm elated. I guess the upset stems from how Nintendo have so many cool ip and potential for this E3 and the Wii U is floundering and this is still a realistic reaction from Nintendo against PS4 and One.

Saw the original image crop up yesterday. I'm doubting it, for the same reasons I listed earlier about Pikmin, NSLU etc. They were shown in the recent Nintendo Direct two weeks ago so they were out of the way for this one. This Nintendo Direct is designed, and stated to be, about games for Autumn and beyond

What you call pessimistic I call realistic and avoiding unnecessary, baseless hype. And I've never been pessimistic about a Direct that delivered after it screened, instead appreciative and happy with what was shown. I was one of the few people who seemed content with the last Nintendo Direct, despite so many foaming at the mouth with rage that Nintendo only announced a handful of release dates (exactly what it was marketed as).

Times haven't changed. I'm getting Mario 3D, Smash, and Kart in a Direct. And very likely Bayonetta 2. I'm not going to hype myself up with fantasy scenarios of shit that hasn't been formally announced, let alone confirmed to appear.

These are my sentiments EXACTLY.

Really, I approach these conferences expecting the absolute bare minimum from Nintendo.

These are my expectations for the hour-long E3 2013:

- Pikmin 3 gameplay
- Wonderful 101 gameplay
- Wii U Party gameplay and release date
- New Super Luigi U gameplay
- Game and Wario gameplay
- Wind Waker HD gameplay and release date

- Wii U Sports unveil and release window "Holiday 2013"
- Mario Kart U unveil and release window "Holiday 2013"
- 3D Mario unveil and release window "Holiday 2013"
- Smash Bros. U trailer

....That's it. That's literally all that I am expecting from this hour. Not even trailers for Zelda U, Retro's New game, X, or Bayonetta 2.

This way, ANY surprise from Nintendo will fill me up with joy, because it's 100% unexpected.

I learned a while ago that going into Nintendo conferences with high expectations will just leave you disappointed.

I had to check it out myself, but what this guy says is correct.

To me, it seems like he made a fake, posted it on the website he writes for, then posted it on GAF for traffic.

Uh, so guys, I'm a bit out of the look considering E3 Nintendo Directs. Last I heard there were going to be multiple directs. Is that still the case ?
And we know only the time of this WiiU one, right ?
Just completing my E3 schedule.

Fake. Nintendo won't upload their Directs after they shown the orginal broadcast.

You know what time it is

Time for crazy and fake rumours during E3 time

Only one at this point, airing on the 11th.

That shit is like that gypsy we had in the last thread talking about what he "knew", it only shows predictable shit, if you think that's the only thing Nintendo would have ready for this E3, well lol, even already announced games like X and Bayonneta are missing, and both have been hinted to be there.

It's fake. They don't put timestamps. They want you to watch the whole thing.

They do put time stamps sometimes, but that's not why it's fake. It's fake because the ND isn't done being prepared yet, and it's not called Nintendo Direct: Wii U Games, it's called Nintendo Direct @ E3 2013.

A friend linked me to it on imgur, it said it had been posted on reddit and came from 4chan

This means it's real

No, seriously, it's the real thing.

They're an oracle.

FAAAAAAAAKEEEEEEEEEE

On another note, what are you guys hoping for the production values pf this Direct. Crazy stunts, or just more direct talking.

I hope just direct talking, keep it about the games and let MS provide the crazy stunts.

And this is fake. It has to be. Nobody could screw up this much ? right ?

Hello guys,

It seems a french website have caught the program of the Nintendo Direct via the Nintendo's YouTube Channel.

Seems legit but hard to say if all is true in this list...

Considering they put "Mario Games" and than "Mario Kart" doesn't make any sense, Mario Kart is a Mario game lol.

Also X, Yarn Yoshi, and Bayonetta 2 not there? Yet they put 10 minutes towards Pikmin 3? I have serious doubts, and knowing Nintendo is very secretive about what they show I don't think they would make the mistake of uploading it a week early.

Also there is a difference between Nintendo putting "Monolith's Studios" in the January Direct and "Retro Studios" in this direct, Monolith Studio's represents "X" which the internet calls it, but Nintendo has never named it "X" and they go by the game as "Monolith Studio Wii U game", Nintendo will most likely 99% announce the name of Retro's game, so it wouldn't go by "Retro"s game.

I like how people are calling out the 10 minutes of Pikmin 3. I'd say that's one of the things from this fake that are most likely to be true.

You can still have hype for the possibilities. There's no reason why you can't be excited and have reasonable expectations at the same time.

Just completing my E3 schedule.

That was never officially the case. Just rumor nonsense.

We know for a fact about this one, Wii U centric, ND on the 11th before the E3 showfloor opens. And we know that we will see X, 3D Mario, Wii Fit U, Mario Kart and Wind Waker in there.

There is a Pokémon event for the press the same day but that is NOT a Direct. Nintendo has it's usual "all access" videos and interviews on its E3 website, expect more 3DS stuff and smaller bits to come out of that unless they have a surprise 3DS Direct coming the same week. So far, there is only ONE Direct.

I could imagine Iwata shouting at Reggie telling him to be useful for once and Reggie sulks into the corner and picks up his Macbook. Seconds later he runs to Iwata Macbook in hand and shouts out enthusiastically "Mr.Iwata-san! I uploaded the Direct!"

"YOU DID WHAT?"

It's all too clear in my head.

....That's it. That's literally all that I am expecting from this hour. Not even trailers for Zelda U, Retro's New game, X, or Bayonetta 2.
ok for Zelda U, I don't think anybody in their right mind is expecting that. But as far as seeing something from Retro there are have been a few clues (i.e. game testers hired, Reggie last year and Yamada on the DKCR3D interview), of course I agree that the right approach to avoid frustration is to expect the obvious.

I like how people are calling out the 10 minutes of Pikmin 3. I'd say that's one of the things from this fake that are most likely to be true.

Its like people have continue to learn nothing from the past two years over and over again. This is the company that spent 25mins talking about a port of a year old game.

You know what im expecting? New pokemon xy news and a wwhd trailer. Thats it.

Nice try French but thats fake and looks like a list right from Gaf

No X which is all but confirmed, No Bayo2 which will be there Nintendo has talked about it twice in ND, no Yoshi no reason not to talk about it again.

Also I doubt Nintendo has even recorded the whole thing already, they still have 9 more days for that and editing and making sure its right

Oh btw I just checked Nintendo's E3 page on my phone and I was surprised by the fact that it was a mobile site that loaded. Didn't expect that from Nintendo as sad as that sounds lol.

I see someone's done a Hit & Run.
I just want Mario Kart, Smash Bros., Wind Waker and Bayonetta 2 mentioned and shown.

For what it's worth, I wasn't trying to be a Debby downer. I was mostly joking. But I do always set my expectations low with Nintendo, because they're a rubbish, inconsistent presenter (like many other companies). A year ago if you told me they'd totally fuck up an E3 console reveal I wouldn't have really believed you, but Nintendo none-the-less proved me wrong.

And it's not really a matter of under hyping myself, so much as not winding myself like an overexcited five year old on Christmas morning. I don't see the point in working myself up over Retro's game, and surprise third party collaborations, and Zelda Wii U, and a bunch of other things in no way confirmed to appear in this Nintendo Direct when I know I'm going to get them eventually. It would be nice, and they could show up, but I find wish fulfilment fantasies both unsatisfying and boring. I can't lie to myself, and the fact of the matter is I don't need to.

Because what I do know I'm getting is already enough to make me happy. I'm seeing Super Mario U, Smash Bros. U, and Mario Kart U for the very first time. Three games I am 99% likely to buy and enjoy for my Wii U, that 1% leftover for that small probability that each game will be an unexpectedly stinking turd. I'm also very like to see more on Wind Waker HD, a game I'm likely to buy, and Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta 2 being one of my most anticipated games on the horizon, full stop. X might even show up. I loved Xenoblade. So there's three more games to excite me, two of which are entirely new.

With the prospect of learning about five big truly new games for me to enjoy on my Wii U, that's enough to make me happy. That's enough for me to go "Cool, I'm going to learn some great things about the Wii U in a few days!". Anything else, whether it be Retro's new game (which I am extremely excited for despite knowing absolutely nothing about, due to Retro's immaculate track record), or a surprise announcement, is a cherry on top. I'm not going into this expecting these things, because I'm humbled and happy with what I'm already getting.

But I also make a mental note that Nintendo isn't the kind of company to ignore other shit they have in the pipes. A ten minute explanation of Wii Fit U really is not out of the question. And given I couldn't give a single shit about Wii Fit U, I am not looking forward to it showing up and chewing up time that could be spent on my precious Mario, Smash, and Bayonetta.

You'll be back on the train at the next stop for Bayonetta: Climax Edition and Bayonetta 2!

eh, most nintendo fans are hopeless optimists until they break for good.
