As if my luck couldn't get any better.

Traded in old games today, got Fire Emblem and claimed AC as my free game.

AND I just bagged me a free 8GB SD card by ordering from GAME using my rewards points! I'm so ready for ACNL.

I've never played Animal Crossing but I'm getting this. I feel sad however...I feel like such a newbie and have no idea what I'm doing lol like for example I'm already stuck in what to call my Town :(

The game sounds like my type of thing however!

I might go. If its too hot though I'll be very tempted to just sit infront of my AC all day. What time is the event anyway and do you know if they are giving away stuff? I was too late for the Luigi moustache and hat.
 
I think my town will be PG-13. Might make some one-liners or references to random stuff.. I guess I'll just wait and see when I get the game, haha.

Just 12 long days until this game hits. It's annoying that TLOU comes out that day also, but at least i've got that weekend off to spend on it =D

Are people really offended by this? It's a well known sculpture - I mean, my high school had statues like this one in the basement where some if the classrooms were. But maybe I'm too European. My country was the first to "free the porn" after all
 
I'm seriously considering buying a second 3DS just for this.

My sister already owns one and I usually just play on hers when there's something that interests me, but for Animal Crossing, damn, I don't know. It's not the same to share a town with someone else.
 
Here's a stupid question: Why does the 3DS ask for a name when imputing FC's? (I have only add friends locally before.)

It happens when you are the first too add, it is so you know who you have added. Like a reminder so later you can bug them to add you. If they already added you it would just auto add their name.

It starts at 9. They will be selling the game while supplies last. I'm sure they would have some freebies. This will be my first event at Nintendo world.

Also you can take the fruits in some mini-games too for your town.

Don't you even joke about that. There's legit members that does this. :\ With that said, I hope its worth it for that person to see this thread to get locked or something. Seriously, I just hope the mods can understand that this game has huge online content that isn't kid safe all the time and the lewd content in this thread should serve as a good reminder to anyone adding their FC on here should know that GAF isn't a kid safe place to start with.
 
Just got back from GameStop to pre-order this game. The Inside the Treehouse series sold me on it, even though I haven't played a whole lot of the series. Only borrowed or rented other titles in the series.

Who's going digital and who's going physical? Why? I'm trying to decide and I'm having trouble.

I mean I haven't even decided whether or not I'm getting the 3DS XL bundle or just the standalone game. I love my blue 3DS XL but I also love the white AC one.
