I only suggested Evolution to be a dev that could do it, they have a great trackrecord with Motorstorm and i'm really optimistic about Driveclub. If Evolution came out and said that they're doing WipEout for PS4 next year i'd be very pleased.

A fair bit of talent came over to Evolution actually. And I don't think the development team at Liverpool was massive. Whereas Evolution has grown quite a bit.

Just a shame to shut down an institution like Psygnosis, although I guess it was about as much Psygnosis anymore and Rare is still... Rare.

My guess is that it's what you said; headset. Look at the pictures which is of the console and compare them with what might be the headset. It just doesn't fit at all.

I do think the headset makes sense, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised either way. We'll find out soon enough. I can't imagine the PS4 stills could be combined into an elegant design personally.

I don't mind the engraved look, but I actually wouldn't be surprised if that's a deceptive shot. The amount of detail we see on the texture of the plastic makes me think that that's a very close-up shot, and that the '4' is actually quite small. I wouldn't be surprised to see a small engraved logo somewhere on the side of the console with a more prominent one elsewhere.

Sony Liverpool was working on two PlayStation 4 launch titles, Eurogamer has been told by a reliable source.

One of these was, unsurprisingly, a WipEout game described to us as "dramatically different" than previous games in the series. Another was a Splinter Cell-style game.

I have to agree, Maybe it's because I play a lot of PC games on very high settings. I wasn't too impressed with the visuals from that trailer.

MGS5 looks current gen. A very smooth and crisp current gen. Probably because its running on a downspecced PC.
I wouldnt be surprised one bit if Kojima makes an appearance at somebodys conference to unveil a next gen verson though.

Clearly you haven't been following Kojima Pro much. Their games almost always end up looking just as good as their gameplay trailers, sometimes better.
