Why is E3 so "late" this year? Didn't it used to take place in the 3rd week of May?

It's been in June for the last few years, since it restarted in 2009 in fact

They dont. If someone is sneaky and taking the pictures or writing them down for someone in a later class I guess it could be very useful lol. How would they get those questions though? You dont have notes and its on the computer in which the teacher is monitoring everyones computer. So you have no reason to have pen and paper out.

pretty sure sony had an exclusivity thing going on with most games during the PS2 era so i doubt we'll get those games

Memorize what the test? I doubt someone could memorize the whole test. On a computer of multiple choice. Especially if each question is randomized.

Yea that sounds extremely strict actually. I dont think Ive ever heard of stuff like that. Especially waiting when you are done. If you take 5 mins to get done you are free to go.

That will never happen. Game announcements and marketing cycles are heavily dependant on the financial year cycle. Major events like E3, GC, TGS, etc will always take place after April, never before.

It's pretty crazy that I might be playing Wind Waker HD in a little over a week. I just can't wait to see that in motion. I know there's a topic for this already, but the demos will probably be Mario, The Wonderful 101, Wind Waker, and Pikmin 3. I'm not much of a Pikmin fan, so I'll definitely be playing the other three (assuming I guessed correctly). All of the Best Buy demo games are supposedly 2013 games.

Don't expect WWHD to be one of the demos. I would suggest Mario Kart makes way more sense for a limited public demo session. Wind Waker doesn't lend itself to be demoed in that environment. A quick race of MK8 however?

It will have both. And that's the most fascinating thing about that for me: What's the connection between the Epic Yarn-like fantasy levels and this 2.5D real-world-like place where everything is three dimensional and solid. Is the game actually open world and you move around in this solid-3D-world-but-on-a-2D-plane and enter yarn-levels that then play like the actual game footage we saw?

GameXplain had some nice ideas along those lines in his analysis.
