This is Good Feel's first 3D game right? God damn.

had my first pre e3 dream last night, according to my subconscious Retro's game is Jet Force Gemini. Also that yoshi game looks sweet.

lol goddamn Its too early for me to try some stuff like that. I would most likely be up watching this direct going off no sleep and just pure excited, being up the whole day.

Please. This very screenshot is so enticing to me it looks like he running around a elementary school classroom by the windows. So much potential and ridiculous amounts of charm this game will dowse everyone in.

It's a shame that we have to cry over a golden nuggett. If it had already been released it would've fed some of the masses

Nintendo are gonna announce a game that tries to appeal to the Western market, that dudebro stuff

but it's gonna fail, it's gonna be way too Japanese. Tight suits and anime hair and future space

Like the other guy said. No chance in hell. Why not scratch every game disc before you seal the box while you're at it? :)

I...I don't understand that analogy :( But thanks for clarifying that it won't increase, I guess I'll wait until some of these bomb-drop games are released.

nintendo knows what us westerners like more than we do. that's how they print their stacks

I would love just for the name of the new Zelda U, if they have actually developed much of the story that is.

A bit OT: Do you guys think there is any chance the Wii U price could increase after some quality E3 games are announced/released? I'm asking just because I know I will get a Wii U at some point, but don't really want to buy it as of now. However is the price was to increase in the future I would just get it now.

i think that the target $239 basic deal is the best deal you'll get for a long time. either they remove the basic bundle and it goes up to $350 for both of the deluxes or they do a price drop on both of those down to $299. i doubt it'll fall to $250 deluxe anytime soon, no way they can afford that

Increasing the price of the Wii U would almost nullify any benefit those upcoming games give it. It would be a total self-destruct move, just like rendering every game you ship unusable by scratching the discs. In what world would that ever happen that they increase the price of a system that is selling so horrifically bad as the Wii U right now? :)

You should look around those deal-sites. You can get a Wii U deluxe set for 100 bucks cheaper in some places ...

Yeah, one of three screens they showed off, iirc

Plus the 10 seconds of footage.

Ah ok, thank you. That screen with the window looks fantastic. I really hope they don't make the game as easy as Epic Yarn. It was a good game but the passiveness of everything took a lot of the enjoyment away for me. Still a pretty, creative game.

And you indeed do recall that correctly.

And here's a gif from the brief video footage:

Best part of that is that the felt background seems to wrinkle as if someone is holding up a sheet of felt or something. Looks perfect.

You just said a dudebro's dream game.

I had a dream about E3 2013 a few weeks ago, 3D Mario had a realistic art style and the main setting was New York, and Smash Bros looked epic.

Are we sure that 10s footage is not a prototype?
It looks totally different than the screenshots.
I hope so because Kirby Epic Yarn was more like Kirby Epic Yawn.

Pretty sure that you will have both kinds of levels - you can see "holes" in the background in the video/gif that look like the window in the screenshot.

Why would they show video footage of a prototype and only show still shots of the real thing and then not say anything about that? Those two a clearly related. Solid Yoshi can hang out in 3D world and String Yoshi has to eat enemies to turn into Solid Yoshi and probably grows bigger the more enemies he eats.

Do you guys think that they will feature some kind of Indie sizzle real or something like that on the next direct. I would really love to see that from Nintendo.

Akinwale Lakeru who works at Nintendo confirmed that this Direct is an hour.

@GianEnemyGoomba I'll tell you this, if we have it set to an hour on your calendar, then it's an hour.

@GianEnemyGoomba One thing to know, is that we are VERY deliberate about info we put out when it concerns E3.

@GianEnemyGoomba You think that was put up on the e3 Nintendo site without NCL's direct approval? Lolno. ;)

It wasn't all bad, absolutely beautiful in motion, but really didn't resemble a Kirby game like I expected - which is why reskinning KEY in HD with a Yoshi avatar isn't selling me. Feels too much like a LBP knock off than a real Yoshi game so far. If there's a lot more difficulty and some additional levels than what Kirby had, then I can see it doing well, HD would be brilliant with that artstyle.

An edited, one hour video is a long ass time for game announcements and details. I'm starting to get super hyped again. Think about that Smash reveal. THINK ABOUT IT! That Mario reveal, too. It'll be magical.

Nice to know it's an hour for sure, though when I checked the file on MS Outlook, it didn't seem you were limited to set intervals.

Something just struck me: Who remembers Disaster: Day of Crisis? I don't think it sold a lot, but part 2 could be happening. The reason why I think this is because the first title used the Wii Remote pretty well. Yes, it lacked some polish but still. "Disaster: Day of Crisis U" could make good use of the Wii U Gamepad. Let's say there is another disaster in the game:

- Scan for survivors with the Gamepad
- perform "little operations", apply first aid via the Gamepad

Stuff like this.
