failed attempt at humor, was poking fun at the poster's apparent certainty regarding the matter.

You're on the list!

I know I'll be flogged to death. But I hope we get a 3D Remake of Link's Awakening with SS artwork.

I'll show myself the door..

... Actually no, fuck you, I WANT that!

Oh wow, I had this exact same idea a few days ago, except I envisioned it with Wind Waker graphics. Yeah, I would absolutely love for them to do it. Link's Awakening had the best story of any Zelda and some of the more atmospheric moments would be absolutely phenomenal in 3D. Oh man just imagine the Southern Face Shrine with a fully orchestrated track... *drools* The dungeons could keep their main gimmicks but be revamped for 3D space and there you have it, my dream Zelda game.

Nintendo needs to unleash the long-awaited sequel to Clu Clu Land at this year's E3. Retro's next title should also be Star Fox and they should have a second team working on StarTropics since they have experience creating both stars and tropics in the past. NST should be working on Metroid Dread before it's too late, and it should be for the 3DS. It should be a 2D sidescroller like the old games since it would suit a portable platform well.

Next Level Games should have a second team by now to work on none other than a sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns, and make sure to include the KREMLINGS. Nintendo also needs to announce that they are funding Shadow of the Eternals, but rename it Eternal Darkness: Shadow of the Ancients. Monster games should clearly be working on a sequel to Excitebots: Trick Racing, whilst Arika should be developing Endless Ocean 3. They've had 3 years to make it, so get it DONE. Nintendo needs to make more announcements that would make even Boris the Animal cry tears of joy through his metallic eye tubes.

Since we will see Mario Kart at this Direct, I would just like to say that it would be cool if you could choose a vehicle for two characters, like in Double Dash. I liked that thing, and it would be fun if it was optional.

And I want the bikes back too.

Double Dash mode where someone else can use the gamepad to aim and shoot weapons would be amazing.

That Direct where they unleashed all the bombs simultaneously was hilarious. People were crying during the first 15 mins and they were crying during the end. Except that at the end they cried tears of happiness and joy and not of anger.

Are you drunk?

I'd say doritos pope having a "fetish" for giraffes made this day pretty eventful, lol. Grant you no news indeed, but still. ;)

You just realized how lame this day was^^...

seriously this is like the perfect time for the fanboys to start leaking their well-crafted rumors and we ain't gettin shit

Yeah, where are they?

Might be neat if the 2nd player used the gamepad with either the gyro or analog sticks to aim and throw items.

If I recall correctly, Matt Cassamawhatever posted an anagram of "Realistic Zelda" on the IGN forums shortly before or just as the then E3 press conference was starting. Low and behold, Twilight Princess was revealed at the end.

There were a few lists floating around at the time. One was very specific, possibly partial, but detailing multiple characters and their relative move lists, while contesting the popular expectations from fans or other lists. That was the one that was 100% spot on and coming from a reliable source, while generally contested by people who didn't like the idea of three Fox-like characters and their favourites failing to make the list.

This was right before the game's launch, mind you.

IIRC there was also the time around I think the 2nd TP Trailer that Matt C. also said that the Wolf shown at the end of the trailer was important. I cant remember how much he implied that Link was the wolf but I do remember every one on the Zelda board called him crazy until the 3rd trailer was shown.

I'm surprised we haven't got any rumors about the games we know that will be showed.

I need those Mario Wii U will be a Openworld game rumors!

One more week. I would just like one little leak and I might have to pass out!! I am not sure my son gets this hype at Christmas it's ridiculous.

I was thinking about how people would react if they said "as for the next Smash Brothers, we'll be talking more about that in our Smash Brothers Direct in 2 days."

On one hand, more time devoted just for Smash, more time for other games on top of Smash.

On the other hand, more waiting D:

I would be happy with that.

Nevermind. Decided to post it in a relaunch thread, since it kind of jives with the same idea and don't want to fill the board up with Nintendoomed threads.

The ergonomics look terrible. One thing gamers miss in concepts. it's a controller afterall. Also pricepoint.

I've been kind of hoping that would happen for some of the bigger games. Show a trailer and briefly discuss it, then have another 15 minute video dedicated to the game going in to greater detail.

If the bundle being recall thing is true (and Kotaku says it is), it happening this close to E3 has to mean something big is going down.

This is Panic Mode action.

Sooo, looks like a price drop is imminent. They're recalling all of the basic models, so only deluxe models remain. I wonder where they'll take this. Introduce a white variant, and knock down the price, from $350 to... $300? $280? ...$250? With the eShop up and running, they can easily pull an Ambassador Program 2.0 for early adopters.

Such a move, together with a killer lineup, could work wonders.
