Good, though I will confess the stories that would have come out of E3 about the mad girl running about or takes of Solid Snake like entry would have been gold.
I am still going with $399 without Eye and $449 with

I guess I'm one of the few who wants the PSEye to be bundled in every box. I think it opens up gameplay mechnanics and techniques we haven't seen before. I'm thinking more along the lines of the Psycho Mantis fight in MGS1 taken to whole new level. Plus I think it has great use cases for general multimedia functionality.
All in all I do hope the price is $349 but I would prefer $399 with PSEye bundled.
I'm also interested in how they present the price. They're NOT going to just have an executive come on stage for 2 seconds, say the price and then walk off. Sony's theme with the PS4 is "Elegance." I will be looking out for this with great interest.

People said the same thing about the Vita being $250, remember.
That one was a flop. Can you imagine what would have happened if the partnered with Konami and made a full fledged Yugioh franchise on that PS3/Eyetoy?
Big difference. Sony had no games outside of the initial onslaught to help them sell more Vitas plus the high barrier of entry when you factored in the memory cards keep it from selling well. Those typed of problems aren't going to affect the PS4.
I agree. I don't hate motion control, I just dislike it when it's shoehorned in where conventional controls would be better or more responsive. I enjoyed games like Skyward Sword on the Wii.
I think Move has the potential to be a better technology than Wii Motion+, because it uses absolute rather than relative tracking, especially now that the PS Eye is stereoscopic. Unfortunately Move had high latency on the PS3, but maybe that's fixed this time around.
I can't imagine it being used to any meaningful extent if it isn't bundled with the console. It would be better if the devs knew they had the option to use the PS Eye for games that can benefit from it.

Well to be fair, PS4's launch window is probably bigger than the entire Vita library right now.

Yea, but the 3ds price drop and the memory cards didn't help. Couple that with a market that was shrinking for Vita-like devices.
Home consoles are an entirely different animal.

I'm interested in the possibilities but am not willing to pay for it right off the box. I'd rather they not bundle it so the price can go down.

I want PSEye games, Move games, traditional controller games, and hybrid games that use a combination of all those the previous categories. And I know I'm not alone in this.
Very curious to see how that game turns out.

Chris Metzen from Blizzard, while he was on stage during the Ps4 reveal mentioned that Sony and Blizzard have got into a strategic partnership to take over the world. Has Sony actually got into a strategic partnership with Blizzard?

Capcom hasn't announced an Xbox One version, so as far as we know, it's PS4-only.
