Yeah I'll definitely be considering importing this, mainly just for my main man Toriko. I wonder how the Vita version will stack up? Man I'm so pumped about Skype tho.
Also, I've never actually watched gameplay for Dynasty Warriors: Next and HOLY SHITBALLS I NEED THIS GAME. I was torn between that and Sonic Racing but now I need BOTH ASAP.
Dude there are so many Vita games coming guys... plus whatever could be announced at E3. AGHRHGR NO TIME!! ;( I work too much..
Retail games are region free but since you're limited to one PSN account at a time you don't get access to DLC unless you switch accounts which is a real PITA.
Not perfect but still infinitely better than the 3DS, ie. full region locking all the way, can't even switch to another region's eShop.
If you do not care about DLC you can play all your games with you main account.
100% region free. All games I imported worked fine.
I don't like to change account that's why I go retailer for imported games but If you do not care or you want to get additional content for that games, simply get an account from the same region of game you imported and you will able to buy all DLC or digital games from the stores you want.

Dynasty Warriors looks great (looks pretty much the same as console versions even) and it can be a lot of fun if you're into the genre, but the touch-based stuff gets a bit much. I didn't mind it during my playthrough of the campaign, but when I went back to it later it just ruined it for me. :/

Vita is Region Free, so you can import carts all you want and just pop in and play.
You just won't be able to use DLC unless you have a JP account to change your Vita's associated account to.

Yes they work, on the same way they do with ps3 you see kanji characters (if they're on japanese).

Orcs Attack was apparently delayed. So they replaced it with GEB.
But the Vita already had cross game chat from day one?? Why would you use Skype for this?

To do that every other person would need a vita. With Skype you can talk to anyone without a vita and people with one.

And speaking of GEB I still can't get over how God Eater is renamed to Gods Eater in foreign markets.
Eating multiple gods is OK because it implies polytheism, but don't you dare eat a single god!!! The Abrahamic religions might see this as an attack to their monotheist faith! As ridiculously far-fetched as it is!

What would you say were the positives and negatives from what you've played so far?
I never even heard of the game until I saw it listed on the PS+ post.
I don't have to play it to see that it will flop and be crap.

Amazing game. Buy it.
OK the controls are still terrible but that's all part of the nostalgia kick. Also the story makes more sense now than it did on release lol.
It runs at a mix of 30 and 60 fps.

So I was wondering, what is the highest selling Vita game so far in Japan?
I'm guessing it's either P4G or Project Diva f. Soul Sacrifice had decent sales but has only been out for 3 months now.
Apparently at the worldwide level the highest selling is Codblops, which is hella depressing, but understandable considering it was bundled.

Holy blue poop, this is super lazy case of a too much horde mode and zero creativity variety, and when even a short trailer bored you then know the game will be repetitive as all hell.
This game can tell anyone why the focus on indie games is not a good thing for Vita.

My point is indie games need to take a nap on the side while the AAA games get more credit. It's like Vita community gave up on getting big budget games in favor of IOS games. An insult to the powerful hardware tbh. I'm fed up with all these uninspired 2D side scrollers
