My first post here and I'am SO HYPED for this year's E3!
Not only for Nintendo, even though I currently only own a Wii U (and don't own a Wii, PS3 or X360), but for each and every company who's going to take part in it!
Years-of-reveals (strictly intended as the E3s when consoles are fully revealed) always have the higher quantity of contents to be shown to the fellow watchers...
Back on topic, though, here are my hopes for this year's Nintendo E3 Direct:
1. A new Super Mario 3D (Looks Like Confirmed)
2. A new Super Smash Bros (Cofirmed)
3. Sneak Peak of the successor of Xenoblade (That Tweet from the wife of the developer seems to be a kind-of confirmation)
4. Mario Kart U Contents + Release Date 2013 (Really hoping for this release date
)
5. Myiamoto new game unveiled
6. Zelda WW HD Footage
7. New Zelda U Concept-art
If this all would be shown, Nintendo's not only had me buy a Wii U at first, but would me make me happy to own it for this whole year!
Of course, there's still some 3rd Party love MIA, but with high sales and gamers happiness, you can make everything happen!

If it's anything like that hype train going into the sun from last year I'm very excited to see it.
What if Nintendo leaned hard into the whole second-screen idea and created a revised model of the WiiU that had a HDMI-in port? I know this won't happen, but what if by plugging in your cable box or HDMI-out from your TV into your WiiU, you could then switch your TV and WiiU video inputs between the GamePad and the TV? Perhaps having TVii messages pop-up on the GamePad for those shows compatible with TVii?
I'm sure additional costs are associated with this and viewing the TV output on the GamePad would really only be useful to the person playing the WiiU, but one would think that they would try and leverage having a second screen and the TVii functionality and taking it one step further.

I tried dude but couldn't adapt. HD ports would sell me Wii U if I can play them with a normal controller lol.

Metroid hype build up.
While I think Metroid Prime 3 Corruption was the weakest games, it arguably had some of the greatest bosses and made the confrontations with Dark Samus amazing. I want a Dark Samus, Phazon Suit, and Light Suit skin for Samus.

I really can't wait for this, and I just can't believe I won't be able to watch it until later that night. And I'm gonna have to watch the JP Direct too in case they have their own game announcements.
