A look at the dozen past E3 presentations.

I'm going to miss their fancy stages. :(

AAAAAAAH! A screen from 2008 Conference! I must erase from my mind!

*hits his head against a wall*

Damn, I still remember it, aaaaargh! While I'm trying to forget, read what Anouma said about ALTTP2, always that interview with Edge

“This new title will feature lots of things that are new to the series; right at the start of the game, there’s a big surprise that will shock players. We started out with the new play mechanics, such as Link being able to become a painting and walk along the walls, and then figured out from there how to build a story around them. Rather than forcing elements of the original story into this one, we’ve instead focused on bringing back the characters, so you can see what happened to them after the events of the first game.”

*hits head even stronger*

It hurts! BUT STILL I REMEMBER, GOD WHY

Shamelessly reposting from the smash thread:

Guys, guys. I think we are ignoring the obvious next choice for Smash Bros 4.

Vince, the kind, elderly art teacher from Art Academy! Think of all the art related puns and attacks he can have! His final smash can be him painting Happy Trees all over the screen and turning it into a landscape, then throwing paint thinner at all the "paintified" characters. Or something. Get hype!
I would love something so frikkin ridiculously random like this as a newcomer.

If they need a painter fighter on the roster, there can only be one answer: Ado from Kirby.

I'm on a low carb diet and have been for awhile. I'm going to make June 11th, 11:30pm central Australian time my cheat day start time. What food should I eat GAF?

Gotta bring the greasy and fried snacks, as well as the sweets: jalapeno and pizza poppers, doritos (or cheetos, or both), some sort of cookies, and for a main course the pizza of your choice.

Where and where?

here:

and here:

"The new game (A Link To The Past 2) will play very differently to the original," said Aonuma. "I think the new additions will make players see the game in a different way. And, of course, we'll introduce even more unexpected elements in the Zelda game that we're making for Wii U."

Maybe we will really get new infos ! Hype overload

2011's stage was fucking amazing. Nintendo really brought it, at least in terms of presentation, that year. Those 3DS trailers were great.

Just watched "Who wants to be a millionaire" and one of the questions we're "which company started off at a card company in the 1880's?"

The guy didn't know it but when he jumped the question everyone in the audience was like "no!"

Lol.

...It's a sign (It really isn't!).

I got a feeling he is talking about WW reborn.

Haha Nintendo thanked everyone who pointed out their typo of the company name in English and apologised to everyone who retweeted it with the mistake. This is NCL, of course. They spelled Nintendo as Nintedno or something like it.

Wait, what are you talking about?

The original tweet earlier about the Nintendo Direct, with the link to he Japanese site, had a small typo of the company name in English. They tweeted to thank those who pointed it out and to apologise to everyone who retweeted the original. They also tweeted a version of the message with the typo fixed.
