Unless they're showing multiplayer again they don't need to show KZ again. They should show Planetside 2 though, to get people who only stay on consoles interested. And they can say it's a bundled free game.

If they did that then they'd show three FPS', which could be more than MS shows at their...And that would be right after Yoshida said that he didn't want the PS4 to be known as a FPS box.

Game seems really promising from what I've seen and read. The music is gonna be top notch in this I bet, and imagine new planets with immense detail and atmosphere. Imagine being able to travel to them, I suppose like Mass Effect.

Yeah and if SSM's game winds up being an FPS too they could wind up with too many FPS being shown on stage. I love FPS but I want to see how the PS4 handles a lot of genres.

Ya it doesn't need to be shown at the conference but I feel it does need to be shown to showcase the improvements since February.
Looks like another indie games has been confirmed for PS4. Super Motherload for PS3/PS4.

Maybe JRPG's don't sell because they're rarely marketed? FF sells and it's marketed. Pokemon sells and it's marketed. Maybe if Sony spent less time talking about FPS 56 and gave some JRPG's a chance on stage they'd get more public attention and possibly sell more.

They don't sell because nobody bothers to MAKE them, and when they do they don't market them. That's the only reason they don't sell. A big-budget JRPG with good marketing would do fine.
A press conference with 3 FPS demos is not worth watching. They all look and play the same.

If Sony also has the drm policies they enter reveal it all at E3 in complete clear detail. It would be the smartest thing to do, or everything will go to shit as we are seeing now with the Xbone.

I mean RPGs in general. Japanese ones would be nice, but I want to see some games with some actual content, not a seven hour "campaign" and then bullshit multiplayer as filler.
So far, that's just inFamous. Nothing else looks to have any longevity to it.

Yea, it's pretty scary. It'll be hard to resist the urge of buyin one even if they have these policies. I wouldn't know what to do. It would depend on how the policies are received by everyone else, because if no one is gonna buy the console then there is no point in buying a failing console.
You can say that because of that belief I wouldn't buy a Vita. Well, I actually bought one a launch, because I truly thought it was going to be quite the successful device.

I think what some are concerned about is that Sony filed a patent for disc based DRM. So they wouldn't even need an online connection to pull it off. The good news is that Eurogamer apparently asked a rep about that at the PS Meeting and they said that it didn't have anything to do with the PS4.
