Looks like i clicked the wrong link

http://www.amazon.de/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000723393&plgroup=1

If this does not work just go to Amazon.DE - search for Monster Hunter and about 1/2 way down the page is a link to the 3 for 2 offer which is still in place.

Buy 3 games from Amazon.de and pay for 2 - those include Monster Hunter / Luigi's mansion 2 / Castlevania - if you buy those 3 you can use the codes to get a 4th game free from Nintendo (so your getting 4 games in total for the cost of 2)

They only order games they have on stock though, so you cant get Luigis Mansion 2 or Castlevania. Still a nice deal.

Took a gamble on the God of War Ascension Collectors Edition on Amazon. They have a few warehouse "used" copies. One went up at £27 in "acceptable" condition, said may be repackaged, slight damage to outer casing, may have codes used. There is still some left at very good condition I think.

Unlikely they are customer returns, so if I manage to snag the CE with just box damage I'm happy.

Happy to say apart from a few small bashes on the box everything was as new. Even came with all the codes unused and the game shrink wrapped.

I think Amazon rate very conservatively. Wouldn't hesitate to try another game in "acceptable" condition.

Dude, what the hell is your problem? I've been trying to contact zavvi through their site and their twitter every day. There have been hundreds of posts similar to mine here complaining about stuff like this. Are you for real? Jesus.
The part where you said it had been four days sounded like you hadn't. Oh well, I've never had problem with Zavvi's customer service, the few times I've had to use them they've been pretty helpful.

I call bullshit on the "item got lost in your country a lot part". In the past 2 years I ordered more than 300 books from a big online shop in the UK, only one got lost a few weeks ago. Now zavvi wants 20, yes twenty!, Euros to ship to Romania. Yeah, not gonna happen. Thank God there are other shops who are still shipping for 1-3 pounds per order/item.

The problem with the shipping is not that the items get lost, most of them were not tracked. So anybody could claim they never arrived in the first place. Online shops send them tracked now so they can verify if the item really has been lost.
Okay, so the problem isn't with the post offices in those kind of countries, but enough customers being dishonest, idiotic assholes. I guess they reap what they sow, too bad innocent people suffer the consequences too.

Yep, that was my point. The problem is that everybody has to suffer because of those idiots. Now we can just hope that insured shipping will get cheaper someday.

I bought New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS) for £7 yesterday. SEVEN POUNDS. Brand new, sealed, stickered.

Check your local Morrisons, I've since seen the deal on HUKD and it appears to be nationwide.

Wow. Nice price indeed. Resident Evil 6 is also the same price according to HUKD.

Ok, so I got screwed over for the first time by Zavvi.

Had preordered Fire Emblem with them. I knew I wouldn't get the game on release date, but that was fine with me.

I got a dispatch email on April 17th, so a bit before release.
After 21 working days the game still hadn't shown up. So I contact Zavvi, they tell me to fill out a form, so they can "investigate" the matter and send out a new copy. Which I immediately do, and I email it to them.
Another week passes, no word from Zavvi, so I contact them again. They tell me they never received my form. So I email it again.

Two more days pass and now they emailed me they don't have any copies of Fire Emblem left and will refund me. :-)

CS was friendly and all, and they can only do so much. But with all of this I missed out on the free DLC for the game. And since it never happened to me before (with over 330 online game purchases) that an order didn't show up at all, I wonder if they have actually really sent me a copy at all. :-)

Anyway, it's a shame about the free DLC, but I can still order the game elsewhere. It's just that I had a nice price (£26.96) from Zavvi and so it's gonna cost me more now. :-(
That's a shame. My £26.96 copy was dispatched by The Hut and got to me that release Saturday (late dispatch as I had a problem with an expiring credit card) so they definitely did send out the discounted copies. Yours probably did get lost in the post.

Hey Gaf,

as an owner of the PS3 (and I guess a PS4 by the end of the year) and with the PLUS subscription...

it's REALLY about damm time to buy a VITA.

What i want is a Vita with either a 16 or 32 GB card (no pack in game needed hence PS Plus), here in Germany.
Any good deals ATM?

I'm gonna buy it at the end of the month, therefore E3-Announcements at already considered.

Got my first bad apple.
I just looked at the stuff that I got 2 days ago from Amazon UK, 2 games sold by them and a "brand new sealed" copy of Little King Story sold by ClickForGames but fullfilled by Amazon and noticed that this one is hardly brand new or sealed, at least not with its original wrap.

The box shows the usual signs that are common when you keep a dvd case in a stack without the shrink wrap around it, tons of little scratches especially on the edges, it's somewhat consumed, looks kinda dirty and it is also slightly damaged (the sheet of plastic that keeps the boxart in place is coming loose at one corner), the manual isn't exactly mint either and the disk has a few scratches. Not a tragedy, but considering that I could pay around half what I did for a copy in this conditions, it's kind of annoying.

Tomorrow I'll contact the customer service and then figure out how much money and time it would cost me to return the product with international mail to get a refund and I'll decide if it's worth the effort, then I'll give my negative feedback and stick to Amazon proper from now on, I guess.

Not a Deal, but yesterday was Tetris 3DS released on the eShop for just 9,99€ which is way cheaper then the Retail Version.

Has this sub-12€ (+3€ shipping if not Premium) Zombi U from Amazon Spain been posted?

Amazon even offered me a Premium trial (the second I get from Amazon Spain) so the total cost was 11.28€. If that's not impulse buy territory then I don't know what is.
I wonder if I could put this through Flubit, despite being another country? Or does the site only deal with UK retailers.

Edit: Never mind, price is back up to normal now.

Heads up: if you've never signed up for iRacing, you can now get 3 months for FREE instead of $30 (or $13 per month). Just signed up myself. Promotion has been going on for a while afaik but I just heard about it thanks to GAF's sim racing thread.

Here you get the code for the FREE 3 months sub:
https://www.cadillaccupracing.com/

Of course you can cancel your sub whenever you want and are not forced to renew with a paying sub when the free period ends, just ditch it before the 3 months end and you won't pay a dime.

Quick question about online retail if anyone can answer this for me.

So say I pay 27 pounds for a game and this order does not arrive. I request a replacement, but at this time the price has dropped to 20 pounds.

Is there any expectation for the retailer to refund me the 7 pounds difference, or do I suck it up and accept yet another bad life choice? (Zavvi woes)

I tend to ask for a partial refund when something like this occasionally happens. Say how much you would like back, and that if not you'll have to return it for full refund + cost of return postage. I've never had any objections.

I think you'll be sucking it up. A lesson learned of always go for full refund* in cases of non-delivery. It is slightly inconvenient to reorder but it forces their hand on price drops. It is may be worth talking to the brick wall that is Zavvi pointing out that cancel+re-order saves you £7. Retailers better known for customer services might refund you the difference out of courtesy.

*-I learned that when my Play.com Klonoa order never showed up. I decided to go for replacement as they claimed they would have more stock in 14 days...a few months passed with no new stock showing up. I had to phone them for full refund.

Swedish gaf.. Cdon selling bunch of new EA stuff for 99-129SEK..ordered need for speed wii u for 129 (~£13).

Wow, Need For Speed: Most Wanted for 99 SEK. Even beats the UK. A shame I ordered it a few weeks ago. Also Crysis 3 for only 129 SEK. Really nice prices, but I'll pass.

Heads up, looks like Shopto is going to process Animal Crossing pre-order payments over the weekend:

"Dear Valued Customer,

Due to extremely high demand we will begin processing pre-orders this weekend. This is to allow us sufficient time to process and prepare them for shipping on Wednesday, to reach you by the official release date.
If you wish to amend your delivery details, billing information or cancel your pre-order please do so as soon as possible. Once your pre-order has been put through to processing or is completed unfortunately we will be unable to action any updates for you.
Thank you again for your pre-order, your custom is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
The ShopTo Team"

Has anyone used Flubit for pre-orders, I used them for TLOU and I'm a bit worried that it won't arrive on time. They've already taken my money too (took it when I ordered in May).

Flubit as an entity is basically irrelevant in this situation. They don't send you games. I've heard stories of people pre-ordering and receiving their games nearly a week early. At the same time, you might get matched up with Zavvi and receive it in November. It's pot-luck.
