Can I ask in all seriousness why you guys care about these heavy CGI games?
I really don't get it, I actually thought a huge portion of FF fanbasery was diminished in this past generation, now that in game graphics have significantly increased for games the graphic fidelity in the ingame cutscenes is largely 'good enough' (see: Mass Effect)
Are you guys just hardcore RPG fans? Do you like the storyline? Do you guys just really love high end CG? I mean I've seen a day and a half of people posting OMG OMG please more FF posts here and not a single screenshot 'wish for' post with a screenshot has been anything but CG. No talk of the apparent game attached to the CG at all.
I don't get it.

The screens you're quote are in-game cutscenes so I dunno what you're talking about.
Also the CG ones look best in GIFs, so those are the ones that get capped all the time. Seriously, people have had to wait 7~ years for this, let them be happy, lol.
I think the file limit for minus is 15MB.

Didn't it start out with the one on the left and become the one on the right? So wouldn't that make it cutscene realtime (or perhaps CG) before and gameplay realtime after? Or am I misreading?
Am I the only one who heard each start up sound as the GIF played out?
I can assume here that it's in-engine cutscene then - not actual gameplay in game?
I've seen 0 screenshots or trailers which include a HUD or indication of gameplay at any point. At all. (EDIT: and it's been that way in any FF thread / post I've seen in the last decade, like no one wants to admit what the actual core game / gameplay is)
