Its worth watching to be informed.
My dream Sony conf for tomorrow:
Kaz goes on stage, no sizzle reel of games, big screens showing a pitch black, an almost empty stage.
"PS4.This holiday. No DRM". Drops the mic and gets out of the stage and a collection of neogaf Kaz gif shows for 2 hours.
So I should I even bother watching the conference tomorrow? If all comes to pass then we know CBOAT is legit for real.
Respect to CBOAT for the Al Snow "jobber" reference.
xD
Personally the bidet tears was the clincher. CBOAT is a legend.
Right, that's why I am saying I would love it if it did mean that. It definitely doesn't hurt that there was that rumor about Capcom's DR3 being exclusive to XBone and Capcom's DD(2) being exclusive to PS4. So if one part of that is confirmed it lends more credence to the other part being true as well. I hope so at least.I dont think that means that at all really.
Seems like the Xbox One will turn out to be the Windows Vista of consoles.
The biggest surprise coming from all of this is that Activision isn't spearheading the DRM/no used game debacle.
I understand the expectation that Sony will just announce the exact same thing tomorrow, maybe 15% less draconian, but if they DON'T... and the drm is the same as the Ps3... there will be a flood of applause and crying gifs unlike any the internet has ever witnessed.
Wouldn't be surprised. If I was a betting man, I did say no more silver or any free tier for Xbox One.
Look what's happening to office.
Devices and services is a company wide push.

I'd say this is definitely happening. No feature list or breakdown between silver or gold users, not mentioning if gold is required to play online games. Only thing that was said was existing gold memberships will carry over.
And to see next gen games, isn't that the whole reason to watch E3 in the first place?
Sony wins next gen if thats the case lol. At least amongst the core.
It's interesting that Activision isn't as supportive. They probably have statistics showing that a lot of people trade in their games to buy call of duty or something.
Again, both Sony and MS do this all the time. Ever seen 3rd party TV commercials?
Im so happy Mirrors Edge 2 is happening and so confused as to how the DRM will be worse
Or that people who buy CoD used often buy map packsIt's interesting that Activision isn't as supportive. They probably have statistics showing that a lot of people trade in their games to buy call of duty or something.
They make a lot of money from DLC sales of used games.

It's going to be showcasing a ton of exclusive* games, along with gaming-relevant OS features, including the revamped Xbox Live and sharing/social functionality.MS's presser is going to be something special.

I am a silver member, but on my Xbox Home tab right now is a big banner with the Xbox One with the message "Buy 3 months, get 3 months free".
Before the announcement I would typically get offers for deals on 12 month memberships. It is a little weird.
Also a bit annoying when you consider how much they nag Silver members to upgrade to gold. (But thats a whole different topic.)
Wouldn't be surprised.
So is ME2 exclusive or not? ie should I kill myself now or wait?
Even with all this it's still going to sell just fine, isn't it?
Impressive lineup.This puts EA's E3 line-up at:
-Titanfall
-Mirror's Edge 2
-Dragon Age 3
-Battlefield 4
-Plants vs. Zombies 2
-Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
-Need For Speed: Rivals
-Command & Conquer
-Star Wars Plans
-The Sims 4
-Madden
-FIFA
-UFC
-NBA
This is probably better than anything they've had in quite some time.
