Thats true but a few of his crumbs are leading somewhere, not that it proves anything but still. He's most likely going to get permabanned.

Let's hope he's right... I mean that bolded stuff... not really hard to imagine anyway but eh...

The sides of the cloth clearly don't match that being the shape.

Yeah the drape is shorter in the middle, thereby indicating that the middle is the tallest part.

Why are people still guessing, we already saw the basic shape blurred out in the preview vid.

Will this make a return to the stage or is it too early?

If it's still a current-gen game, I agree.

If it's being changed to next-gen, and especially if it becomes XV, then I fully expect it to be multiplatform. Assuming the Sony part isn't true, anyway.

Square was exclusive all through the PS1 and PS2 generations to Sony, there are valid reasons to be exclusive, FYI.

For starters, SE gets a lot of good free pub as an "exclusive" title within the Playstation community, resulting in a slight sales bump.

More important than that, Sony has always provided them with a strong advertising push for new Playstation exclusive Final Fantasies.

When you consider that the other option is a U.S. heavy system with zero presence in Japan and only strong in the U.K. for Europe, and the fact that JRPGs don't sell nearly as well as they used to in the U.S. you can see why porting for what basically amounts to half the userbase of your least viable region isn't necessarily a great financial move.

The fact that going exclusive would likely get them a team of Sony engineers at their beck and call to help optimize their PS4 engine that will be used on all future titles is likely gravy.

Pretty sure it's lying on it's back. The perspective makes it looks like it's standing up.

Like that[/QUOTE]

That would be my guess, too:

And the controller lies on the console.

That's what I think as well. I posted this earlier:

Nah doesn't look right.

It looks like it is at an angle, your box is dead-on.

Also, if you look at the top left there is some depth. If it was laying down like your outline we wouldn't see that depth, it would drop out of sight or be a steep angle, depending on the angle it was taken at.

LOL no

Doubt it. Looks like a cylinder. Speaking of, where are these bits of pictures that were found in one of Sony's teasers. Like glimpses of the hardware. Wasn't there something shaped ike a cylinder, like a vent or something? Can't find them anymore :(

edit: here

I actually think that's the only design that got the round grill vent right. In the teaser you can see a white background behind the vent, meaning that it must be on the edge of the box.

If the latest MS rumors are true, Sony conference will be like the second coming .
This might be the fastest win of a console generation ever.

if their DRM policies are correct

I hated that design when it first showed up, but it's kinda grown on me. If Sony can make it a but more streamlined and slick-looking, I think it might actually end up looking pretty good.

I wish it was so cut and dry.

Microsoft isn't banking on the hardcore gamer - even if they bring they games, it's so fucking transparent. The problem is that the average consumer the ones not on GAF or forums about games aren't going to be aware of even a fraction of the shit MS is selling. Then add true casuals to the mix.

What is important in my books is that I personally don't support it, I'm never going to tell someone not to buy something but you can sure bet that I'm going from a tri-console owner to just Wii-U and PS4.

I'm never considering a Microsoft console in the future, DRM or not. I don't really care anymore.
