Is it that right? I always get my ShopTo pre-orders on Wednesdays, unless they're having too much stock to ship this week and that's why they've been processing the payments since the weekend, to be able to ship everything on time.

Well the email from ShopTo says:
Dear Valued Customer,

Due to extremely high demand we will begin processing pre-orders this weekend. This is to allow us sufficient time to process and prepare them for shipping on Wednesday, to reach you by the official release date.
If you wish to amend your delivery details, billing information or cancel your pre-order please do so as soon as possible. Once your pre-order has been put through to processing or is completed unfortunately we will be unable to action any updates for you.

So unless by that they mean Wednesday is the last possible day it will be shipped but they will ship some beforehand, or you live next door to ShopTo's depot then I doubt anyone is getting it on Wednesday.

They do this for every major game release though and have done for a few years.

They take payment around the weekend and claim a dispatch date of Wednesday. They aren't going to advertise that they are dispatching it on Tuesday, as that is way too early for first class postage. Rest assured though, the majority of orders I've received were all shipped on a Tuesday.

Mine still shows "processing" but I can see the photo. Sigh, I guess I'll have to wait for next week. Hope I can at least finish Deadly Premonition in the meantime.

They also just sent me the pre-order DLC download code...but twice!

just looked and mine is now 'completed' & i received the dlc code, looks like it was sent/photographed yesterday & they just didn't send out an e-mail. should get it tomorrow, yesssss.

Hyperbole

It's perfectly playable after the initial shock of it not running like the ps2 version. and you can platinum each within a few hours so it is hardly worth bitching about.

They put the worst team they could on the port and its still miles better then their silent hill collection.

But yeah just wait for the patch If a few frames per second really grates on you.

Yeah, Italy. It usually takes a week between shipment and arrival, 5 days with a private courier (amazon). I just got the email confirming the dispatchment too btw, yay!

I got the code too, tried using it but it appears to be invalid. I guess it will be live after friday?

I'm really surprised no one's talking about this, or maybe it has been posted a few pages back.

Also your internet connection speed needs to be at least 1.5 mbps. Which is probably not going to be a problem for anyone in the Western world, but still it's a silly extra requirement.
