LMFAO! KI fans have been asking for this for years.
Developed by some of the team behind Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters and G.I. Joe The Rise of cobra.
You've been warned.
The franchise was as popular as MK. Rare just stopped releasing sequels.Man, I really cannot get into this game.
The animation looks awful, the graphics look...okay at best, and the developer behind it inspires no confidence at all.
Plus, did people REALLY ask for a new killer instinct? I've seen it thrown around for the last month or so but before that I feel like I've never seen anyone actually ask for it. Killer Instinct was never a great game in my mind.
Isn't this made by the same people who brought us "green lantern the movie: the game" and "battleship the movie: the game" not to mention
Silent Hill homecoming? weren't these the people that were gonna have the SH homecoming main character, Alex or whatever, fighting a super saiyan battle with Alessa over Toluca lake, until Konami said "no way bro."?
how are people excited for this?

Nostalgia dulls common sense.

Just played some Killer Instinct. It's what you'd expect. Which is a good thing
need to see orchid
Impressions from fighting game community guys that have played it so far are very positive. Although they could be a.) paid off or b.) overly nostalgic I doubt it. Just because they made some shitty movie games doesn't mean they don't have it in them somewhere to release a good fighter.
Everything about this game suggests it will be horrible.
Which is sad because I loved Killer Instinct.

Response from "the fighting game community" about a title made by a developer who hasn't made a good fighting game before? sounds like a load of crap to me, fighting game fans tear apart street fighter and tekken, and this isn't even in the same league.
The voice over is awful. Too bad it's only on Xbox One.![]()
Not street fighter and tekken....
street fighter x tekken
Why does it sound like shit? They got guys around to play it.
The devs just have an abysmal track record, I don't know where all this faith in them is coming from. It's like people who thought DmC was going to be good, but way worse.

The FGC fawns over games until they're released, and then they tear them apart.
I've seen nothing but positive impressions from some pros who have played it on my twitter feed.

Well known people in the fighting game community seem to be liking it from actual hands on playing.

lol really? Sounds exactly like the original announcer
Doesn't mean much either way.
Even though its being made by a shitty dev, even though Microsoft fucks over rare fans, this is still the only reason I'm kinda sorta considering getting an Xbox. This game should have released on 360 like 5 years ago.

most get paid to test the game and stuff so I doubt we would hear anything bad
Bad fighting games are always really fun to button mash for 10 minutes. This means nothing....they aren't testing the game. It's there in playable form.
If you're considering buying a DRM machine for a KI remake made by double helix, I think you've got bigger problems than microsoft fucking over rare fans.
