I have no doubt people do like the character which is pretty obvious, but I want to point out that it doesn't take much for a female character to be a waifu.

One thing I noticed, on the "boxing ring" stage the audience is comprised of "anatomically correct" humans. Considering they pretty much have no place in Smash Bros, wouldn't that be the final confirmation for Little Mac?

I know he's not fully humanoid either, but what other series would feature a boxing ring (with the exact same ropes as in Punch-Out) and anatomical humans? Seems like a lock for me.

The ring only has "Smash Bros" written all around it though and Smash Bros emblems on it. That kind of thing isn't done to any stages from actual franchises. Just compare it to the Pokemon Stadiums. I think it'll be a new Battlefield and/or Final Destination type neutral stage, not based on any franchise.

I'd love to see a more fleshed out version of the stage creator. I had fun recreating stages like Peach's castle from Melee.

Interesting choice if that is the case as DKCR for me is more a console game rather than handheld despite the port and Sakurai did say that the 3DS version would have handheld inspired stages. But I suppose the only other recent DK games on the handhelds are the Mario Vs DK series.

If that wheel was made out of wood I would say that it was Reznor Wheel, from Super Mario World or New Super Mario Bros. 2. It has the same basic design (four platforms rotating on a wheel), but a completely different construction.

I think it's positively amazing how well WFT straddles the uncanny valley. She's probably the most realistically proportioned of the entire cast, yet still creepy chalk-white skin and hard-to-see features and un-natural-looking fitness-based moveset, yet still somehow looks... badass.

Well Punch-Out has the "World Video Boxing Association", but it's not too much of a stretch to speculate they rebranded it to a Smash Bros Boxing Association for this world.
