Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS: Info Collection - Dojo, Mega Man and Trailer! 2014!

How is Little Mac meh? The main character of Nintendo's alternative fighting game not being in their main fighting game simply makes no sense -- plain and simple. I mean, it's like the main character of Nintendo's alternative racing game not being in their main racing game. Can you imagine Mario Kart without Captain Falcon?

Wait.
Little Mac is small. Soda Popinski is the best fighter. He should be on SSB.
Ok, I don't have any problem with him.

Little Mac borrowing his moves from other Punch Out characters would be a good way to diversify his attacks and various tricks, be it Bald Bull's charge, Great Tiger's illusion making or even drinking down a bottle of attack power increasing soda pop. Take this and apply it to Mac's own striking style perhaps even including a star punch like mechanic for one of his specials and I will be pleased as Punch...Out.

just noticed the balloon hat for the villager, and got to say i'm happy that the game gets some sort of representation.

so it's probably the up b move similar to snake's up b. but if you destroy the two balloons...

WiiFit Girl is honestly my new favorite character. She's so absurd, yet clever. And her giving helpful fitness advice as she is bashing someone's spine is just too fucking great.

We already have one punch out rep...dk :p

Heck Dk even kidnaps Mac if he loses. Where else would he take him to aside from smash?

I just noticed that the person holding the photo is Mario.

That would be amazing. I only need that Doc Louis appears in his final smash doing something funny.

Or the bycicle being a B move.

Doc Louis should stand in the background like the Pokémon Trainer, and if you're close enough to him you use your down special move to make Doc Louis shout out advice, giving Little Mac a brief power-up.

With this we have reached perfection, also consider a projectile attack involving the Doc's Chocolate bars.

Though I fear that Giga Mac would be the likely final smash choice.

It really sounds like something Sakurai would love to do.

This is genius especially since there is precedent with Ness and Lucas using moves they don't learn in their games. Would be easy to explain that Mac needed to go train with his enemies to get ready for Smash and show a classic Punch-Out!! training trailer (not that it really needs an explanation at all given that this is Smash.)

I could get behind that.

Nothing would make me happier than Little Mac showing up. I was so disappointed when he was just a trophy in Brawl. If there's one guy in Nintendo cadre of franchises tailor-made for fighting, it'd have to be him.

Now watch it be Super Nintendo ugly duckling Little Mac

so by the time WiiU is out he's blossomed into a beautiful swan, right?

I have Brawl and Melee. But my friends only ever want to play melee. So I'm afraid to get hyped for this because it may end up like brawl. Unplayed :(.

I thought the trailer was kinda weak. Until MEGA MAN :D Then it became all kinds of awesome. There's even a MM2 stage, how awesome is that? Come on Capcom, bring a real Mega Man game to the WiiU. You know it will work.

1080p/60fps is cool too. Sparse backgrounds are a trade off I'd make any day of the week.

Well after how well the Uprising multiplayer performed, expect this game to have a good online component.

You will always have GAF to play with.

So it kinda seems like there is more hit stun and comboability from the vids seen so far, yes? Those Tekken devs sure like their juggles ;)

Mega Man's spike move (hard punch or something?) looks to be very strong. A ranged spike? Dayum.
