It's very unlikely that they'd be shut down out of hand, but they could go into bankruptcy. To cover their debts they'll be forced to sell assets, including buildings, intellectual property, that sort of thing.

Remember what happened with THQ? That's a worst-case scenario, the near-complete dissolution of the company to pay back money they owe. It'll be interesting to see where this goes. Nintendo needs a good RPG developer...

I can't believe people have this hard a time accepting that game had almost non-existent sales prospects. I mean, wow.

Not a joke post. If it was fear of low sales that kept them from localizing it they would have said so, because you know and I know and Atlus knows that fans could accept that. Instead all we get is 'no comment' and a wall of silence.

Truth be told, I don't even really care all that much because I'm way behind on the whole SMT game library, but this story's got an angle to it-I can smell it.

Keep in mind, I never played the original Persona, so I had nothing to compare it to. I just really dig that battle theme.

Though you're right, a friend of mine is showing me the original songs and comparing them to the new ones, and I can see why people would hate the newer versions.

Anyway yeah a couple of the remixes in P1 PSP were OK, as in the ones without vocals, but the brutal cuts to the tracklist and that goddamn lady singing gibberish in the battle music were unacceptable.
