Metal Gear Solid V (PS3/360/PS4/XBO/Maybe PC) - Extended 9 minute E3 trailer

I said GOD DAMN. Sins of the father is as good if not better than heavens divide and snake eater. I love the whole mood this song sets for the game.
 
I'm stealing TheLight 's joke from the other thread, but....

Next-gen aiming to be possibly better looking, running at 60FPS with a resolution of 1080p.

This was easily the best thing shown at E3. Can not wait. I'm actually going to wait for the PS4 version though. I know, I'm crazy. But I'll just be patient. Watch, the PS4 version ins't out until late 2014.

I think Skull Face is just a new guy but the theories are interesting. If you think about it Kaz misses his right arm, Snake's left is going to be blown off. I think they both miss different eyes too. And Skull Faxe is XOF, yet Snake is FOX. Its a mirror image. This game is going to deal with internal struggles and mindfucks so i'm prepared for the worst.

I think you underestimate foreign(current gen) vs Pc architecture(next gen consoles) friend. Expect next gen games to take much less time to develop.

So we're all guessing 2014?

I'm still holding out hope for 2013, but I admit it's more wishful thinking than anything. I know that the Fox Engine is very flexible and easy to manipulate, but Kojima made it sound as if they're very early with the next-gen versions, and I don't think they're going to do two releases of the different generations, so I'm guessing it's likely all coming out in 2014.

Well, according to Wishmaster - I'm way underestimating something and something. So it won't take that long to come out or something. Yeah.

Well, I would love for this to come out in 2013. But I'm still thinking at the very least, early 2014. And just because this is easier to develop on the next gen architecture, doesn't mean Kojima will get the game out as quick as possible. Knowing him, he could take his sweet time (adding things, and pushing it even further) - before finally dropping it. And then we aren't even taking into consideration how console releases work (Sony might want him to hold off on the release until a specific quarter in the year, to help continue to push PS4 sales).
 
Wow, that's some heavy stuff in the first part, this game's definitely got a different tone than the other games.

So has it been confirmed that Ground Zeroes + The Phantom Pain is one game and not two different titles now? that's what Kojima said in the Gametrailers interview, according to the GT translators anyway.

how is it possible for this to come out in 2013 when Koji hasn't even announced a release window yet.Or is it possible that he announces it three months before release ? idk

So they haven't started upgrading it for PS4/Xbox One yet?

Uh, doesn't sound like it's coming out anytime soon :\ Either that or it'll be X360/PS3 and then 6-12 months later have "SPECIAL EDITION" PS4/Xbox One/PC version.
 
Does Kojima even know what's going with his own game? The E3 trailer is rendered at 1080p, beyond the capabilities of the PS360. And I don't give a shit what he says, there's a reason he refuses to show us the game actually running on consoles.
 
I love how, in the trailer, once she says "WORDS THAT KILL!" it does that familiar sound 'DUN.. DUN DUN DUUUNNN." It's so foreboding. Like some crazy shit's about to go down.
 
I'm playing MGS2 HD right now as my first MG game (Well, second, after Rising) and I'm LOVING it, I can tell I'll fall in love with the series. Bring on MOAR

Yeah I know. It's the sound that I associate with the game, much like how I associate the 'SOP gone haywire' sound with MGS4.

Errr... I wouldn't go as far as saying Rising was a -real- MG game. But to each his own. Starting the main canon with MGS2 might confuse you. I recommend downloading MGS1 off the PSN store (if you're playing on the PS3) and play them in order. Just don't get turned off if you get super confused after playing MGS2. As you play the rest, it'll make more and more sense.

Miller sounds to have the same voice actor, otherwise no.
I would bet Emmerich's will be Otacon's(Christopher Randolph) again.
If Paz is in her's will probably be changed.(Tara Strong probably too expensive for a minor role)

The KP Report gave me the impression that Snake is the only returning character they are really screwing with though.
Ocelot change is probably just them wanting a middle voice. the MGS3 guy is known for doing younger voices(Spectator Spiderman)

Not according to Kojima's latest interview. What we saw at E3 was running on CURRENT-GEN specs and many people fell for it thinking it was next-gen. Kojima Productions and the FOX Engine FTW! WOW just WOW!
 
Just watched the trailer. I got the chills.

So awesome. Kojima is a genius. He's redefined the genre since MGS1 - a story driven action-adventure masterpiece.
 
Cannot wait for this. Think I might play through MGS3 on my Vita again soon and do a platinum run, just so I can get back inside the head of Snake.

GOTS for me, and my most anticipated title for PS4.
