Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS: Info Collection - Dojo, Mega Man and Trailer! 2014!

Palutena HAS to be in this game. Beyond that, I don't know who I'd want from KI:U for a third although I definitely strongly back Medusa since they were the original three. That and poor Medusa got shafted for good lines in Uprising. Imagine if she just spends the time in Smash Bros. shit talking "depressed and passive aggressive drunk" style about said injustice?

You know what I haven't posted about that I'm excited about is that FLUDD is BACK. Mario is one of my mains and the FLUDD brings the WRECKAGE!

I miss Mario's old down air so much. Why it didn't come back and FLUDD get replaced with the Galaxy spin is beyond me, although a lot can change moveset wise between now and launch.

Ugh that really annoyed me. Sakurai better give it twice the push strength and range it had in brawl since it was completely useless aside from screwing around by pushing items and rolling crates lol.

Never. FLUDD is better.

You're insane, it would become OP. I'll face you guys online in Brawl and show how it's done.

Objectively speaking, Kid Icarus barely deserves a second character, if that. The series comprises three games stretched over a twenty-five year period. Be realistic, guys. Palutena's the only shot Kid Icarus has at getting a second character.

FLUDD sucks but I'm now rather used to Mario's current d-air - It has nice priority and it can be a decent approach at times.

Google Chrome and "Marth" (and Robin) seem the most logical, but if it were up to me I'd put Owain and Tharja in :)

We're at least four now!

I liked the concept. They messed up though.

It shouldn't be that hard to write samus, especially in a military capacity.

Make her the leader of a team. And just strip motoko kusanagi's entire being, and put it into samus. The gameplay wasn't the best either.

Kudos to Sean and Clutch from dkvine for these.

No , Because there is a good chance I will be able to buy a sonic game on my other consoles very soon.

However sega and nintendo are cool with eachother. Though Nintendo is cool with a lot of 3rd parties.

Still waiting on my ff1 rep

Oh you mean your 3DS right? ;) I get what you are saying but if Sonic sells well n Wii U (it does already on 3DS) I guess that Nintendo will extend their deal with Sega

Lesser games have gotten more.

Also, what should really matter is how good the character addition is. Hades and Palutena are both fantastic and interesting characters with great gameplay concepts behind them. I'll take them both any day, "deserved" or not (stupid concept), over the legion of sword-wielding heroes so many people are begging for.

Agreed, but they gave Mother two characters so it's possible.
Yeah, but each Mother game is a standalone experience. Ness is the hero of Mother 2 and Lucas is the hero of Mother 3. Pit's the main character in all the Kid Icarus games, so comparing secondary non-playable characters like Hades or Medusa to Lucas wouldn't be entirely fair.

My most wanted character since Melee was King K. Rool. :(

True, but I don't think they look at stand alone experiences alone when selecting characters. For example, Bowser and DDD never really had their own game where you play as them. They were playable at one point in their respective series, but I don't think it's what warrants whether they're playable in Smash or not.

Objectively speaking, Star Fox has had one decent game in the last 20 years, if that. So, by your logic, him and his feathered/furry friends can go away.

No it isn't, otherwise they wouldn't be called "Mother 2, 3" etc. The fact Claus was in when 2/3 of their audience hadn't even got a chance to play his game was pretty damn insulting.

Kid Icarus is Sakurai's baby. I wouldn't be surprised if it got a third rep. I hope Samurai focuses on Kid Icarus more than Kirby in the future. Kirby is such a boring franchise.

Edit: by Ryce's logic Megaman shouldn't be in either. His own company doesn't want him ffs.

Considering how underpowered Mario has been, it would be nice for him to be overpowered.
I don't ever want to see Mario and especially Link being overpowered. If characters that are honestly not that popular like MetaKnight and Fox can absolutely dominate when they're OP, a Smash Bros. game with an OP Link would be pretty much 90% of people playing as Link :P That's why it'd be hilarious if WFT ends up being a very good character, there are going to be quite a lot of WFT players if that's the case.

Well it's also Sakurai's new baby, and he put Pit as one of the first characters shown. Hades and Magnus also have good chances I feel.

Agreed, but they gave Mother two characters so it's possible.

Hoping for a 3rd. Masked Man please. :(

Do people really think Toad has a chance. That is like if an eggman robot or a chao got into a sega fighting game.

Thems worker bee's man , the queen is already the game. ( however there is room for two queens wink wink nudge nudge daisy damnit )

Ah a wild fury appears.

I'm not sure how having choice in character costumes in a huge fan service game like this is anything but a good thing

You're misinterpreting my post. He's fine with costumes that make sense (see: Wario). What he isn't fine with are random assortment costumes like in Tekken where you pretty much dress up a doll because overall "dress" of a character is part of the character. Like, he's fine with say, Peach with her sports costume, but not into a senseless "malling" costume

Go ahead and cut them Sakurai:

Toon Link- Redundant. No need for a second Link anymore.
Wolf- Meh character.
Lucario- RIP my main, but replace it with a new 'mon if need be.
Snake- He would be great if he actually appeared on a Nintendo console once in awhile.

and just fully merge ZSS and Samus.

I'm pretty sure ZSS and Samus are considered a single slot.

And wut, Wolf is pretty unique as far as a character goes - where have you seen a feral martial arts combatant? Honestly just make him Amaterasu/Wolverine with weapons and change some of his specials and we're good to go.

In these games, I'm a Fire Emblem character specialist and I also still want my Eatern quick draw/iaijutsu sword guy/gal (RIP Lyn/When's Takamaru). That being said, I agree with this message.

This series is also in desperate need of magicians. Tharja, Issac, Ashley, freakin Kamek, anybody! Just find some mage/witch types and explore this already.

Now this I have to disagree with. It's like if they replaced Ganondorf with that one guy from Twilight Princess who helped you fight that one time. Magnus is assist trophy tier.

Toad already resides in Peach's dress.

Debunked.

If that's the case, I can't see why Awakening Marth can't be an alt for Marth. :P

I think it'd be nice to see him in because it'd have the 4 playable characters from Super Mario Bros 2/USA and now the upcoming 3D World. With the amount of spinoffs the series has, I'm sure they could come up with a creative moveset. That being said, there's probably better choices for characters instead of another Mario rep. (Isaac, Lip, Takamaru, etc.)

Avatar/My Unit would be a nice choice too, and they could just use the version from the art where he/she is wearing a hood.

Guys real talk now.

Forget Chrom, forget Lucina, this game needs Robin. A magic user would be way more interesting.

Ike's "slow but powerful" style had nothing to do with his stats in Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn though, it was done purely for gameplay convenience of Smash Bros. He also never had a 'fire' move outside of Smash. Chrom would only really need a different Up B.
True about the gameplay change for Brawl.

However, the thing is that what Brawl did accurately depict compared to FE was Ragnell's sheer weight and power. Ragnell is noted to be really heavy in PoF/RD, much more so than Falcion, and FE pretty much ignored that fact. In SSBB, when Ike hits someone with Ragnell in Brawl, you can actually feel like you slammed someone with something equivalent to that of a truck. The same can not be said for Chrom and his Falcion in FE:A, who is never depicted or has the evidence that they would be able to accomplish the same level of power in SSB4.

And Ike does have a "fire" move in his sword beam and his power up from Yune. Eruption still came out of left field though.

I'd totally back Toad if I wasn't previously backing Tomboy Daisy. With Wii Fit Trainer coming along and being the athletic type though...

I would rather just have Bowser Jr. Toad is in her dress, just hanging out in the void untill he is needed.

He must smell terrible.
