I just reject and state that as being the reason, then I revive the demand. I'll report it as a bug if it happens again, but I'm sure it must be an issue they're aware of by now.

One time, I was legitimately supposed to pay postage on an item, as there was a postage cost on the site. I went through checkout with no postage cost showing up. At least a bug worked in my favour for a change!

Is everyone here still using Flubit? I had one bad experience, have used them again with no problems, but can't decide whether to carry on using them. My demands are on average 10% off, but if you compare that with the loss of Quidco, I seem to be saving maybe £1 which to my mind isn't worth it if there are any problems.

I've only used them once, just t'other day actually. Got an X360 Windows controller for my lovely new pc for £17.10 instead of £19.99 on Amazon. Pretty chuffed with that. Will use them again.

Used them for Last of us (£5 off), DKCR3D (£3 or so off), P4A (£2 or something off).
Not yet messed up an order. Even emailed me the preorder code for TLoU.

Not problems so far. P4A took a while to arrive but TLoU came a day early.
 
Damn, I tried to sweet talk Amazon into changing my silver 3DS to the blue one so I can get it sooner, no luck. They gave me free first class delivery for contacting them though. Heh.

nope, they've screwed me out of a couple of sales, they say they'll give an offer in 48 hours but they didnt, it switched to "coming soon" for a while, they waited out the sale and then offered me a price about £10 higher

Maybe they really didn't know if and when it would get into stock again. I asked them 2 weeks ago about "Memento" on BluRay to get back in stock (it was and is 5.50pounds from zavvi - 11pounds for 2, amazon wants 8pounds + postage) and they told me that "yes, but it could take a while". And it's now in stock since 2 or 3 days.

That's a possibility, but this is a newly released game, from Nintendo, so it's hardly going to get out of print anytime soon. If it's back in stock now, they must've put in a new order at their suppliers like... a week ago maybe?

Anyway, guess I'm just going to have to cough up a little more now... :-)

Yeah, but I'm going to have to order it pretty soon, because I want my free Nintendo download, and FE was going to be my third game. With average Zavvi delivery times I can't risk holding out much longer, so I'm going to go with Amazon this time, I think.

Buy it from base.com then. They ship more expensive items from UK directly and cheaper ones from Switzerland. Same price there. Unless you get free shipping from amazon-uk.

That's the third time that I think about buying a Wii U.
The price is very awesome and Zombie U only costs 30€ at amazon.de right now too.

But... there are no killer games right now and nobody buys a Wii U. I think that I will have spent my money for nothing or that the console gets cheaper.

Hard decision.
 
if they had reduced the price of the 8gig model a bit more (like -80€) i would have bought it.

still some great deals - and i missed all of them :(

We get screwed over badly by our local retailers though, so I guess the free shipping from Amazon UK and Germany (possibly also France) is compensation. :-)

To me they have been very consistent in delivery over the years. I've always received my orders, and they took 8 days or so to arrive on average.
Only this recent Fire Emblem order went completely wrong. They claim to have refunded me for it though. I haven't checked if they did (will do so next week), but I assume they have.

I mananged to get them all. The hardest one is "Overseer", the others are not that hard. Hardest "no death" trophy is the crushing one for coop arena. Didn't take too long as well. But you will probably hate the game after getting them all. The treasure ones aren't that awful, but you will have to boost treasure drops with someone (2 controllers for each are required). Otherwise they will take ages.

Thanks for the Treasure Drop tip, If it can be boosted with F2P MP I have two PS3s.

Tried to boost that, but the ones that got the trophy didn't continue boosting :/ Without boosting that one is quite impossible.

Yes, that's possible. Although you need 4 controllers then and 2 humans, because the game kicks idle players (best way is hunter arena, 2 controllers vs 2 controllers - drop rate is much higher that way when you kill the human opponents over and over and also go for treasure chests when possible). Otherwise you just need a boosting partner with 2 controllers.

UK Gaffers, anyone preordering PS4 on the highstreet? Can't decide whether to go online or not. Went gamestation (when it was in a blockbusters...) for ps3 but haven't gone day1 on anything since.

- Professor Layton and Pandora's Box: delivery time 7 days, game was sealed with Nintendo ribbon.
- Professor Layton and the Lost Future: delivery time 9 days, game was sealed, but no Nintendo ribbon. Club Nintendo card was missing. I contacted Wow HD. Support was helpful, but said the game was brand new. I insisted it wasn't. They let me send the game back and refunded me to my cc account. Even refunded me 6 euros for shipping (in the form of a store voucher though).
- Gravity Rush: delivery time 4 days. The game looked brand new and seems to be a genuine copy too.

No point risking it. Online order deliveries are pretty reliable. Go with Shopto, they use DPD for delivery, can't really go wrong with that.

Thanks for info. Was passing the Pikmin 3 £30 deal on to a friend but he asked if they were reliable. I wasn't sure. Will let him decide based on this.

They are legit (at least for the stuff that I ordered), but sometimes it takes 1 month till they actually ship. And then it may take another 2-4 weeks for the order to arrive. They sell a few Hong Kong BluRays for superb prices (e.g. Dragon Tiger Gate).
