Grad is really his worst album IMO
Is this real life? At least bring up dilla
Teddy Riley is a pretty good producer. He created a whole era of R&B. Arguably the best era.

No but I'm sure alcohol played a huge part in that
Are you Kanye, or his mom, maybe his PR person?

He'd do that much more for hip hop if he accepted his lack of lyrical talent and stuck to producing
industry still sucks so it couldn't have been muchI feel like a lot of people who don't like Kanye much (which is fine) completely understate his cultural impact and what he did for the industry. He is easily one of the most important artists to come out of the last decade.
Because he made it and they didn't.
hitler made it too
i wanted to make my own golden new age, but then he had to kill everyone

What are we supposed to base our opinions of celebrities off other than media portrayals? Unless you're best buds with Ye, none of us know the "real him" so as long as there's an inherent acknowledgement in our judgements that they're really just conjecture and not definitive what's wrong with doing so?
My most burning question though is why do you care what some people think of a celebrity you like? You like him, that's cool, isn't that enough?
I'm still trying to figure out what the point of this thread is...
OP is obviously a fan and will deflect anything negative that is said about the dude so why bother? Even if anyone had a legitimate response for the main question, it wouldn't matter seeing as (A) No one knows the dude IRL and (B) Our perceptions of his character are built squarely upon how he is portrayed in the media.....which incoincidentally also happens to be the only viable source to receive access to whatever goes on in his life.
The funniest part about all this is that you could ask the same question ("Why the hate") and refer it to anyone. Kayne West could be Hitler and it wouldn't fucking matter because he will always have fans that support his every move and there will always be people that will hate him no matter what. (Please say something witty about my comparison between a Dictator who killed 6 million people and a musical artist...Go on)
So i ask again....What the fuck is the point of this thread? You're asking a bunch of people who personally don't know the guy why they hate him and yet you give out responses that show you're not surprised by the reactions people are giving. I'm starting to think this is more of a poor attempt in trolling rather than a legitimate question because for someone with this much foresight, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
This should have been the final response given before the thread was abandoned.
So we're done here, right?
he's more of a Mussolini typeand comparisons of Kanye West to Hitler are invalid lol
I refuse to support people regardless of their talent if they're an asshole. No thanks.
Good sampling isn't easy dude.
He must listen to Mr. Rogers sings the hits or something. That's all fine and dandy, but a pretty dumb way of choosing what music you listen to.
I partially agree. I just can't give credit when monster stars sample music from other monster stars. You can't make a hit from a song that was already a hit. I'm just not giving you that credit unless you completely transform it.
You know him?Speaking personally, he's a selfish, arrogant, racist, whiny fucking baby.
It's your reasoning
It's fine I just think its petty to be upset over that or judge him based on few things when he's really quite a positive influence in hip hop
He and his ilk are the greatest source of Hip Hop's woes.
Mainstream pap for the masses, doesn't help that he's also shown himself to be lacking in any form of character.
Ok. Well, to answer your question:

YupThis is pretty true, and it seems like he's kind of run out of new things to say recently.
