Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS: Info Collection - Dojo, Mega Man and Trailer! 2014!

I think multiple versions of Samus is stupid when Ridley's just sitting there. Zero-suit Samus was unnecessary.

I agree with you on the Samus part. I don't like the idea of playing Samus without her suit. Just make her a good character in her suit. No need for 2 versions.

But I'm not on the Ridley bandwagon either.

I don't mind ZZS making a return in SSB4. She's really fun to use. I really hope they make Samus better.

Agreed. Zero Suit was one of the few characters in Brawl I actually liked using (With Ganondorf getting massacre'd with the nerf stick and no Mewtwo, I gravitated towards ZSS, Snake, and Lucario for my mains. Wasn't too fond on many of the others personally), I'd be happy for a return.

Just my general thoughts on it. Zero Suit while an entirely new moveset doesn't really make sense. It never did honestly...it appeared in one section of one game for a small period and it wasn't even a section people enjoyed. It was a sex appeal thing and if thats needed my picks has Tharja to handle that.

Jigglypuff's rest doesn't make sense, Ike's moveset in relation to his actual game doesn't make sense, Ness and Lucas never actually learn the PSI moves they use in SSB... who cares about sense?

No time limit, 5 stock, no items, Final Destination, typically only 4 or 5 characters ever being chosen is the most boring crap to play or watch in Smash Bros. I understand well that some items and stages are ridiculous, but this is Smash Bros. Not Street Fighter or MVC, and runaway bitches LOVE no time limit. Love it. I hope that this new game is balanced enough that it never turns out that way again.

I can't tell if you're making fun of me or not because of my comment and having ZZS avatar. When I played her for the first time, I thought she was weak at first. However, when I watched APEX and saw a player using ZZS, I was surprised seeing how good she was. And I wanted to play like him.

My Picks for the new Smash Bros final Roster and my reasoning

Eh, they've been using Samus's Zero Suit as kind of her default look outside of her power suit since Zero Mission. In fact there's also a sequence in Other M where Samus is forced to run back to her ship with nothing but her Zero Suit and her emergency pistol. I think Zero Suit Samus is here to stay.

There's a video of Captain Falcon vs. Dedede on Final Destination during a sudden death and they're both hanging from/dropping from the ledges to avoid the bombs when Falcon climbs up, runs through the bombs to the other side and falcon punches dedede for the k.o.

I came across this while looking for that video.

Couldn't find what you were talking about but left happy anyway.

Sooo here's a character draft I had thought of around Brawl prerelease time..

It was actually a Pokemon Trainer, but not the one as you're familiar with.. So I've decided to call it Pokemon Master

My PKMN Master was actually the trainer him/herself in the match. The player actually physically controlled the trainer. All of their attacks consisted with them calling out a various set of Pokemon with split second timing to perform the actual fighting action.

The trainer would only have a set amount of Pokemon designed for the moveset but would alternate between 3 subsets of pokemon randomly. So everytime the move is initiated, A pokemon is summoned to complete the move. Once the final action frame has been completed, the pokemon instantly returns back to the pokeball. This gives each move some varying aesthetics and different properties with a semi dash of luck, similar to Mr.Game & Watch's Side-B specials.

Allow me to briefly explain...

Regular A - Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee 3 Hit Combo , Repeated A presses would result in Rapid Punch or Rapid Kick

Down A - Machop or Primeape Low Kick, knockback upwards

Side A - Rapidash or Scizor Quick Attack, Rapidash would have fire properties

Down Smash - Hitmontop or Ferrothorn, Rapid Spin

Side Smash - A Heavy Side Charge from Rhydon or Aggron, You may also get Exploud but he does a Sonic Boom instead of a charge!

Up Smash - Pidgeot or Staraptor with a Brave Bird directed vertically

Down Throw - Machamp with a Seismic Toss

Side Throw - Throh with a Judo Flip on its back

Up Throw - Zebstrika with a bucking bronco kick upwards, lighting properties or Heracross with a upwards Megahorn

Regular Special - Hyper Beam/Solar Beam/Ice Beam (I cant think of the pokemon lol) Ice Beam has freeing properties

Up Special - Fly recovery (Same lengths as Brawl's Pit) Flygon or Skarmory

Side Special - I couldnt think of this? Any ideas lol?

Down Special - Excadrill or Sandslash performing Earthquake

I didnt list the dair and uair moves because that would take even more planning but what do yall think? I left out the 3rd pokemon so you all could fill it in if you wanted.

This was how I envisioned an even more badass pokemon rep to the roster. Final Smash would have to do with a legendary obviously.

Right now, I'm at number 11th list. I only have 18 characters out of 39 characters that have perfect record. Few characters that don't have 100% surprised me. (kinda)

I thought the only moves Ness didn't learn were like pk flash and thunder?

Ness is actually the team healer in Earthbound. Paula is the one who learned PK Fire, Freeze, and Thunder. Poo is the one who knew Starstorm. Ness's only direct attack spell was his PK "Favorite Thing", which happens to be the only spell he doesn't have in SSB. Go figure. At least the baseball bats and yo-yos are accurate.

I think it was PK Star Storm he didn't learn. His ultimate attack was PK Rockin, which may as well be the same thing I guess. PK Flash was a staple for him though right?

PK Flash was a fun gimmick, but it was way too costly to be used on a regular basis, since Ness used his PP on healing duty / PK Rockin / occasional Shields.

While not placed in actual cycle form the old thread did at least list some of the more prominent points in the pre E3 cycle.

- Wishlists
- Clones
- Cutting Characters
- Pokemon Gen wars/rep relevancy
- Ridley is too big
- Brawl vs Melee and/or casual play vs competitive
- 3rd Party reps
- Geno Sucks

Now this may have taken an alteration following the actual reveal and the influx of more posters and thus more stops on the cycle, if someone ever takes a crack at a cycle image I demand the Gaf logo spliced with the SSB series one in there somewhere.

I think eventually someone will but right now I don't we even need a chart to know how the cycles just happens. lol

Wow, team healer? There's nothing wrong with that but I would have never guessed from how Smash has changed our perception of him.

Geno actually had a cameo in a Mario and Luigi rpg, it was a very small one though. And like previously stated, there was one planned song from SMRPG to be included in Brawl but it was cut. Finally there was a Nintendo and SE colab, it was Fortune Street. Unfortunately, Geno didn't appear as far as I know in that game.

Oh god why does this rumor still exist? I blame those Geno fans clinging to anything as long as they believe it's true.

It was NOT an SMRPG song. It was very vague that it could refer to a Wario Woods song, Zelda song, or a Kirby song. But because fanboys are idiots, they made this "what if this song is in the game", assumed it was SMRPG song, and then have fanboys refer to said fan-made music as "the" lost song.

I don't watch any YouTube videos on the game but I love ZZS. I'm amazingly bad Samus sometimes but it's so easy to win with ZZS. The only problem is when the Final Smash shows up. Really wish she had one that kept her in that form.

Do you guys remember when sp0rsk banned people for even saying "MegaMan" in the Dojo thread? Haha! Those were the days.

lol It's all coming back to me. Man those were crazy, sleep deprived times.

The hate...the hate is strong in this one. lol just playin. I still don't get Geno after all these years. From my time going back and doing my own basic research on some of the older characters characters around Brawl's time I found some gems: Captain Syrup, Mike Jones, Takamaru, etc. but Geno I just don't get Geno and that's fine I guess. To each their own.

Yea I wish there was an option to hold R or something while activating the Final Smash to have the Varia Suit automatically deconstruct like when you start. Maybe even sending the pieces flying across the stage as projectors.

Not really a Geno fan but I do think that sakurai could make a wooden puppet character look amazing. Has the potential to be one of the most visually interesting character in the roster.

Huh, interesting. What is Lucas' role in Mother 3?

Quick question.

Is this not almost a direct port over of the Brawl version, or am I missing something?

Other than the City part.

Brawl had one moving platform. This looks like it has a variable number of platforms. If I had to guess, I'd say that the new AC stage stops over in different places like the Sunshine stage in Brawl.
