Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS: Info Collection - Dojo, Mega Man and Trailer! 2014!

I want her face design from Metroid Prime.

Yes. That was before they ruined her. :(

I hope not. Never liked that look.
It's weird that both the Villager's intro and promotional art show Isabelle who is from New Leaf and yet the stage and his appearance are clearly from City Folk.

They really should make the backdrop a bit of a hybrid and just stick some public works in it so it's not just focused on one game.

Yes I get the whole console games for console version handheld games for handheld version idea, but City Folk is like the least popular of the series.

Even less than the Game Cube one?

Has anyone seen the video online of a DDD player and a Falcon player on Final Destination in sudden death with bob-ombs falling? They're both hanging off the sides, dropping and jumping back up to the edges in order to dodge the explosions.

At one point, the Falcon player climbs up and runs through the explosions, drops off the other side and Falcon Punches Dedede for the K.O.

I saw this a while ago and I can't find the video. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Regarding Pokemon Stadiums... The stadium where Pikachu is shown in the cg teaser part of the reveal video is new, right? If so, I guess we might have gotten a brief look at Pokemon Stadium 3 already. It seems like they're going with day time this time to differentiate it from the fighting ring arena.

Edit: I'm really not fond of the idea of giving Toon/Young Link a bunch of obscure items. They could do a better job differentiating his normal slashes, and his boomerang could be swapped for something else, alongside his Final Smash, but, if the character is Link, I think his moveset should stay recognizable with some of the most common items in the series, like the bombs, arrows, hook and spin attack.

Of course, if we're going that route, and he's going to recycle material from the other Link in the game anyway, they might as well not bother wasting many resources/time with him and just leave him with mostly the same moveset as standard Link.

Check it out I made a Toon Link moveset that draws from WW, PH, ST

(View it in a new tab homies)

The lunge grab isn't based off anything, I just thought it was gangster

Looks like Mario is weirded out by Link's dry humping in the upper left corner :lol

Sick drawings, tho.

I still think a website-based dojo is still forthcoming. At least it should be. They can't just release info through single daily screenshots

The Brawl Dojo also had a proto website that was put on right after the E3 reveal, and months later it was replaced by the actual Dojo. I think the same thing will happen here. They can't really have a website for the game using only pictures. It probably won't take that long this time though, considering how the game's development seems more advanced.

They also could make B-down the Megaton Hammer and have it as a charge up move.
Spot the anime fan
I'm not an anime fan but I personally find MP samus pretty ugly. Until they can get more realistic looking human characters to look right then they can ditch the anime look. We know Retro was pretty god awful human character design.

Aye. Pokemon was their peak. The third movie was the best thing they've ever done imo.

Yeah, they really went above and beyond with Pokemon. It was their top show, but I also, at the same time, I think it was their best work. I agree.

Don't even care about the jelly donuts, don't even care.

Is it Japan time yet?

Yes it is:

Yeah, that's a wonderful looking 3DS level. I actually thought it was a Wii U shot before double-checking. Probably not the last time I'll be fooled.

EDIT: Also, I'm really glad Sak's deciding to showcase screenshots for both versions. When I first saw that setup, I figured we'd get nothing but great Wii U shots. Relieved, since there's little doubt I'll be playing the 3DS version more.

Background reminds me of NSMBU.

The diagonal formations yes, but its all in the pretty Uprising style. I really like the trees right on the platform, gives a nice sense of it being a natural formation and not just another lazy random floating platform.

edit: and I JUST noticed the nice water with stream dripping down. Battlefield confirmed to take place above Super Mario World and/or around Zeal?

Nope, Battlefield is just SSB stage, and it's same for Final Destination.

Is that 3DS Battlefield pic what Sakurai posted to Miiverse? If so, that's not a new shot -- it was included with Nintendo's E3 press packet last week.

b-b-but final destination no items fox only :'( actually me and my friends really enjoy Final destination at least when we get into the more serious matches :P

Final Destination is the best when you want to go for a no items, only fighting kind of thing. My favourite in Brawl was probably Lylat Cruise, Halberd, or Norfair.

It looks like the background platforms move slightly in the Wii U Battlefield.

Mario Bros, which in the London Tourney scene is the only level you're allowed to play.

With all items on.

The best stage in Brawl? Am I allowed to vote for one of the returning Melee stages?

This is actually a tough one for me, since I am generally not a fan of Brawl's stage design. I don't really like the moving platform/shifting battlefield stages such as Halberd and Delfino Plaza. Mute City in Melee was fun, but only since it was there was only that one stage like that. Brawl also suffered from too many stages with too busy of backgrounds and a few other endemic problems.

My favorite stage is probably The Pirate Ship. It is built around a central fixed structure with an unobtrusive background, but it still has a lot of fun gimmicks that it switches through gradually and naturally. It is changing, but not in a hectic manner. Second choice is probably Yoshi's Island.
