I know it's old but I love this shot so much:

I hope they give DK a great stage.
Yeah they could do sunset shore inspired level or any of the sunset levels that were so visually striking. I could see them also do a tsunami inspired level where you hide behind the rocks when the wave approaches and occasionally the whale or octopus shows up. Although it'd be a bit overused since they've done a lot if similar stuff in Metroid levels. Speaking of Metroid levels, I wish they did something cooler than dark cavern looking area with gimmicky stage hazards. Brawl really messed up giving the Prime series little representation. They couldve done Phendrana Drifts, Phaaze, Talon VI overworld, anywhere on Aether. They couldve had Chozo ghosts or the light/dark dimension as stage hazards

Jontron's Side B should be a sledgehammer and a copy of NES Nightshade. Call it "I'm sick of your shit!"

His Final Smash could be forcing the other players to play Bubsy 3D.

Nah, it'd definitely be summoning the Bafomdad to force other players into trippy musical halicinations culminating in Demon!Slippy arriving to reap the sinners.

That'd be way too scary! Maybe as a stage hazard.

Speaking of stage hazards, the demonically possessed copy of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts would be a cool OHKO obstacle.

Guys, I'm thinking they should replace one of the SF clones with Krystal. More female characters/magical powers = better

EDIT: At least for variety's sake

How come all the 3DS screens look so AMAZING? I think this could be the best looking 3DS game I've seen. I'm obviously hyped for both versions but being more of a handheld guy I'm so hyped for the 3DS version with its handheld-only stages and stuff. It breaks my heart that it might not be released simulatenously with the WiiU game.

I'm late to the favourite Brawl stage party but Yoshi's Island is both great visually and enjoyable in its relative simplicity with the few minor stage gimmicks being just enough to not make feel too basic.
Plus they made two remixes of the best Yoshi series song that work with the seasonal shifts, amazing.

I've hoped this over the span of the entire Smash series..
The Melee stages weren't that bad but did we really need 2 generic and barely DK focused jungle stages? and then you had Kongo Jungle 64 or whatever it's called in there as well. Basically you all know what i'm going to say about this, less vague jungles and DK island Swing remixes for the love of all that is interesting and refreshing.

Yeah that's my problem. The DKC has a rich series of beautiful landscapes and locations. We get it, DK's from the jungle. Use one stage to portray that. If you're gonna have 2/3 DK stages in a game it'd be swell if at least one of them would represent all the other cool stuff. (without a horrid stage gimmick..)

Star Fox is a dead franchise, it doesn't deserve another representative.

Kind of have to agree with this. Be glad there were as many SF slots as there were in Brawl, and be prepared for the same amount, at best. Wouldn't blame anyone for taking the SF representation back down to two slots.

Since we haven't seen them yet, here's what I'd like to see for Wii Fit Trainer's remaining moves -- they're both taken from Wii Fit (like her other attacks).

Side Special Move - Cycling
Wii Fit Trainer hops on a bicycle. If you don't do anything she'll just fall off the bike (doing 1% damage), so you'll have to rapidly tap B while holding forward to pedal. This is like Wario's motorcycle, only this hits multiple times with each tap of the B button and you can only ride forward. Pressing back puts on the brakes, and jumping gets off the bicycle.

Down Special Move - Body Test
Wii Fit Trainer steps onto a Wii Balance Board and after a second a number pops up above her head. Using the move towards the beginning of a match results in a poor score and leaves you vulnerable as you briefly sulk, but using the Body Test after pulling off several attacks will give you a better score; good scores briefly boost your speed and attack power. (I haven't fully thought out the mechanic, but something along these lines would be a fun nod to Wii Fit.)

again You get to decide this.... How...

A few years a go I would have said that Kid Icarus is dead.

Oh wait...
Maybe instead of doing asinine things like telling each other who should be out ( despite how much I hate jiggs) We should just hope for who we want in.

Argh, why didn't they use the insanely superior Melee design of Fox? This just looks so much worse.
Do we know if the 3DS and Wii U versions will release next to each other or will one release spring and the other fall?

Been playing some matches, and you know what? Wolf is cool. He packs punch. Keep him, just change his Final Smash.

And maybe his recovery too. Make him use a jetpack that lets him fire weapons is a better alternative.

lol @ the idea of Krystal being "unique". She'd up being a Fox clone too and not use a staff.
