Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | June 2013 | Late Ports and Late Threads

sure but its not proof the concept is even sound

if remote play was worth anything than actual developers that dont make crap games would surely have utilized it

but when the "best" game is something terrible like tokyo jungle or old ports of PS2 games, i question the worth even developers see in it
Tokyo Jungle is definitely not terrible...

Devs don't bother with it on PS3 because they'd have to implement it themselves, on PS4 it just works on an OS level. Devs could still not bother with it, but most PS4 games would still work (probably not with the best control scheme, though).

The answer to that is that the feature is not worth anything to a developer, but worth existing for a consumer. Look at the number of people liking the wii's off tv play. That was accomplished using standard WiFi components as well, hardware the vita already has.

he's using hyperbole but you've played through a BUNCH of remote play titles?

like what? fucking LAIR? Tokyo Jungle? High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition?

I've completed God of War 1 and 2, Ico, SOTC, Tokyo Jungle, and PixelJunk Monsters and Eden. Is that a problem?

I didn't realise ICO & SOTC were remote play.

To be honest, I only tried remote play once, back on my original PSP.

Does it work well? I have ICO/SOTC, wanna try it.

Just saw Epic Mickey 2 for Vita on the EU Store.
At that price and with the few videos of E3 I've seen, I might consider buying it !

Edit : Stupid me, forgot to say that it's 15€

Flicking through IGN's E3 Vita round-up.

I love Colin, but he begins one game with the words "Boy-oh-boy" and another with "Man-oh-man".

As cool it is that so many indie titles are coming to Vita, I do wish there were a few bigger "AAA" titles on the horizon.

They updated last week, and I think that there was only one update on the sale.
Hoping I'm wrong though ... Would love to see Daxter on sale.

No, they updated the E3 sale.

The PSP was from June 5th - June 19th until new titles added.

The below offers will run from 5th June for two weeks, when another wave of titles will take over. PS Plus members can claim an additional 20% discount on all offers.

BTW does super low price for Epic Mickey 2 means retail release was cancelled ?

Amazon.uk has only info page and no option to order.
It's in stock according to EBGames online store and Jb-Hi-Fi still has the release date marked as tomorrow (we have retail releases on Thursdays here) so it doesn't seem like the Australian retail release got canceled, not sure about the UK though.

I just got Jak Trilogy for free on French store, probably an error. Downloading it right now (3Go) to verify it's really the full game.

So Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and Danganronpa 1+2 for the vita.

DAT Tecmo Koei / Spike Chunsoft support.

Is Warrior's Orochi 3 that good of a musou game? I was kind of underwhelmed by this announcement because I don't expect them outside of Japan, although we are getting Toukiden now too...

Downloaded it.
Different glitch than usual ( with the trial/full game unlock etc ), so I hope it's a legit glitch this time :D
Please report for me, I can't download it for a week :(

I think the German PSN store just told me in German that I'm not German enough to DL Jak and Daxter for free.

Thanks for NOTHING ancestors.

Warriors Orochi 3 is basically a musou game with the crazy turned up to max. It's got characters from Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors and other Tecmo franchises like Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, etc. There's monsters and stuff as well as the usual hordes of enemy troops, too. You also swap out between three different characters at any time I think.

The Wii U version got a western release but the PSP version didn't, so we'll have to see about the Vita release. :/

the size is legit 3giga the sum of the 3 games, but its a single download and a patch.
First time i see a hd collection trilogy thats not a pack of the games.

Works on the Australian store as well. However, my net is crap so I won't be able to test out the actual game in a timely manner.

Yep cross buy, ps3 vita now all 3 games appears free for me.
Nice move, only platinumed the first i will do it again on vita.
Is there a sly collection for vita in sight?

its an error for the trilogy pack i think but now individual games are free but i own them .
someone who didnt bought the ps3 games can confirm for each game

Allright then, just got the Jak & Daxter trilogy for free which unlocked the crossbuy one for PS3, which in turn made the "J&D Precursor Legacy" free on PS3. Also, I got it on Vita.

So... basically 4 copies for free. Not too shabby!
