Outlast 11-Minute PS4 Gameplay Demo

Looks good but I find the constant use the camera to be annoying.

Obtrusive hud, grainy filter, etc.

But maybe I just misunderstood its use in the game, I'm just expressing an immediate concern.

I love playing horror games fresh, so i won't be checking out the video. But glad it's getting good buzz, as it definitely sounds like my cup of tea so far.

The best new here is this game will be free for PS+ members... :)
Seriously? Wow. I might consider buying it anyway before we get it for free.

This is seriously amazing (and I do not really recommend it to watch just before you are going to get some sleep - at 1.27 AM. When you are all alone at home. With few lights.)

Oh god.

I actually jumped while playing the E3 demo. The first major scare I knew was coming by watching the person ahead of me play, but they never got to the basement. So when I got there.. fsdfsdfsfsfs.

Shit.

* Don't Starve
* Outlast
* Secret Ponchos

All three will be free for PS+ on PS4.

And DriveClub Plus Edition too by the way...

first of all, game looks amazing - use of filters is ingenious, and to see an indie game looking like this, big props... I will buy it just to support it, probably wont play it as it looks too scary for me :-)

Is this really ps4 game?

I think zombie u better graphically.
Eh? It's incredibly stylised due to the handheld camera effect, it looks perfect from that point of view. Also it's an indie title, so the fact that you're even comparing it with a big-budget AAA title like Zombie U should be quite the compliment to the creator.

bingo, this looks incredible for indie.

Looks great, but I can't help but notice the way he looks around doesn't look at all like it should if you're using a controller. Strange.

Fucking awesome. They totally nailed the camera look. Can't believe this is one of the free games too.

Yeah, it looked like it was being played with a mouse.

Thank you for posting fellow GAFfer, watching it now.

While it looks interesting, not sure if I would play this one with my Headset, hehe.

It's an indie title. Not a triple-A budget game.
It maybe be indie, but if this is UE4, I expect better even for an indie. It's not like this is PS3 at launch where UE3 was not ripe for the hardware.

IMO, all these indie games should be 1080 60fps with aa, this doesn't even have much aa.

Definitely seemed to be played with a mouse. The way he was looking around with the monster chasing him was way too quick unless they have some scripted chase views.

Free for PS+? I hope they still let me give them money.

Button prompts suggest PS4. Unless PS4 has KB/M support OR they just didnt change the interface.

wow, maybe i just need one game and PS+ at launch. A nice MP shooter + Drive Club + 3 Indi games + F2P Games should be enough for the first 1-2months :)

This might sound a little weird but I think Sony might be a little too generous with their offerings sometimes. This should just be a game that people should pay a few bucks for tbh. The value PS+ offers is pretty incredible but I think it might border on a bad business model occasionally. All I'm saying is there seem to be a few games that would make a lot more sense to give away for free on PS+ without detracting too much from the value it offers.

Id' rather pay money for online and discounts off games on top of free games than get nothing really in return. I will find a way to get these guys some money as their game will be free for plus members.

I just hope Sony was as generous to the dev as they will be with us.

The best addition to PS Plus would be the ability to purchase the games they give me for free. There are plenty of titles (especially indies) that I would give to.

I like my horror games, but I've an inkling this will be too intense for my delicate self. Some games are just too damn scary for their own good, like Project Zero.

Now that I did not know; all I was aware off was DriveClub being given away. Great, now I HAVE to play it.
