That's only Twitter Kamiya. In an actual E3 interview I recall him saying he'd love for Bayonetta to be in the game.

Either her or the Wonderful 101 characters. Or maybe both

I don't think reducing the number of Pikmin he can pluck at a time would be the correct way of balancing him. He'll still be a force to be reckoned with even with 3 Pikmin, so all that would do is make his already poor recovery even worse.

You need to attack the problem at the source. Give him normal clashing properties on his moves like everyone else (except Meta Knight... who should also change), make him slower, give him less range, etc.

I think a balanced Olimar would ideally just be a slower Brawl Olimar. The problem with him is that his moves recover way too fast for someone with so much power and range. Making him a slow glass cannon seems like a good way to keep his playstyle intact while bringing to the level of the other characters.

Also, remember what Marth/Roy did for Fire Emblem in NA/EU? Bayonetta *should* be a shoe-in, but so awesome as well. Fucking Bayonetta in Smash Bros! Game would be so much more amazing.

Should be the effect of the original 1080p pic being downscaled to 720p when published on the site. The (only?) 1080p screen released till now lacks AA. This should keep up my hope that the game will actually run at 1080p for true (I'm still not convinced of the thing).

Lighting is amazing, btw.

I don't know if this has been done in the thread, but what are people's speculation on Villager's (or any other newcomers) moveset? Like what equals what? Ex: Pickup may be a neutral special or down-special move.

Villager & Mega Man are cool addition. Hoping to see more characters supported in DLC's
 
My reaction for Megaman in Smash was rather subdued.

Mostly because I was at work and jumping around like a chimpanzee like those in that compilation video would have been a surefire one way ticket to the nuthouse.

According to Sakurai in the Developer Direct, they seem to want the roster have characters players would never expect. That should include Mr. Game & Watch from Melee and R.O.B. from Brawl. Personally I hope WFT isn't the only unexpected character in the roster; I find such characters very entertaining! Both Mr. G&W and R.O.B. were really something.

Doesn't Nintendo own the Fatal Frame/Project Zero IP now?
I really hope we will see something Fatal Frame related in SSB4.
Not necessarily a stage or playable character, but an assist trophy or at least collectible trophies would be pretty neat.

Does Wii Fit Trainer need to be defended so adamantly here? He obviously was being half-serious, he's entitled to his own viewpoint.

Here's something everyone should understand: Adding one character doesn't take up the "spot" of another character. Sakurai has plenty of time to develop this game, and he is not known for skimping on content. If he wants to add a character, he will.

Adding Wii Fit Trainer does not mean he is neglecting Bayonetta, Shulk, Samurai Goroh, or whoever your favorite video game icon is. If he wants them in the game, they'll be in there.

Never said it was made for me. It's made for everyone. I just don't see the point about complaining when we don't know the full roster yet. We always get an unexpected character!
 
I like how Megaman feels like the polar opposite of Sonic btw.

Sonic = 3-4x the same spindash move scattered through his moveset.

Megaman = every single move is like an awesome unique special move.

Since it was made for everyone, I have the right to dislike a character that I dont like that has been added to one of my all time favorite games. Are you somehow Wii Fit Trainer's Lawyer?
