Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| We Need To Go Cheaper

I think only certain items are egligible for free shipping and if your country does not have an official Amazon storefront. I wish Amazon DE wouldn't count as official store for Austria - UK PS3 prices would be glorious without the 6GBP shippoing cost.

I ment the console.

Incorrect. Amazon DE gives free shipping to Germany, Austria, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Switzerland. You can't just assume that it has free shipping to every country in the European Union.

Saw this just now...

Thought it meant something - like the thread was marked for death - but then I realized it is just because I created the thread.

EVERYTHING IS FINE!

Lol, I had that same idea too. :-) This new layout has been a bit confusing at first, but it has a few really neat little touches about it.

depends on where you live... I guess uk?

cheapest wiiu atm is @ 180€ (~153pounds)+shipping from germany:
http://geizhals.at/eu/nintendo-wii-u-konsole-wiiu-2300032-a800724.html

Yeah no. Berlet doesn't deliver abroad. They do charge at least 4,99 euro for delivery within Germany, and potentially more (14,99 euro) because it's a quite large and heavy package. So Amazon Germany might even be cheaper in the end. If I understood correctly you might even have to pay extra depending on your payment method.

Berlet.de said:
2.6. Können Sie überall hinliefern?
Wir liefern ausschließlich auf das deutsche Festland.

So gzoop canceled my Mario 3DLand order after I contacted them. Usual "our suppliers are finding it increasingly difficult to source this item" bullshit reply after I even said in my mail to them that they should't try to feed me that since it's not like Mario games go out of print during their console's lifetime. Oh well, never using their Amazon Marketplace storefront again.

Well the "official" storefront better be with free shipping - otherwise I can buy the stuff at other places aswell. Amazon UK offers free delievery for countries without a official store (Super Saver) for certain items - sadly not for Austria.

On a different note - I got TLoU replaced by 2game and it worked like a charm - after a quick email the game was shipped on Thursday and today I could already play it. A good alternative for people in continental Europe.

systemfehler's post was actually accurate.

You will get free shipping from Amazon DE to Austria. But you won't get free shipping from Amazon UK to Austria, because Amazon DE counts as Amazon storefront for Austria although it's actually located in Germany. Some countries actually get free shipping from almost every Amazon store - just ask foobarry81.

On top of that Amazon DE doesn't offer free shipping on everything. They only offer free shipping for orders => 20EUR. There is also free shipping for BluRays, books, clothing and some other stuff, but this service is only available for Germany. Austria only gets free shipping for books and orders => 20EUR.

Got a £15.05 offer on Flubit for Persona 4 Arena Limited Edition. Worth it? Or anyone else think this can drop a bit more?
I think it'll be £10 or less pretty soon. Zen always seem to overship their releases. You can even still get the bigger "limited" edition with a load of other tat from their site.

So someone in the So Many Games thread confirmed that you can register the same game on Club Nintendo twice provided one's physical and the other's digital. If anyone has any digital Fire Emblem or physical Animal Crossing codes I'd be interested - still have a bunch of Steam games available to trade.

EDIT: or codes from any of the other So Many Games of course.

Looking to get a couple of 3DSXL's (one each for me and the missus).

What's the best combo to get to take advantage of the So Many games promotion, and end up with at least 2 copies of Animal Crossing?

Gonna get her one of the Animal Crossing 3DS's, so that's one taken care of.

Ok so I just bought/recieved a PS3 slim from ASDA and there was no controller in the box? Not too much of an issue as I have my old one but weird

Depends, if you want to maximise games/money or just want to know the best games to get.

If you want the best games, I would say buy Luigis Mansion, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing, and choose the free download as a second copy of animal crossing.

If you want another free game on top, you need to choose monster hunter and animal crossing as two of the games. Right now, you can claim a free download of monster hunter in addition to the "So Many Games promotion".

So if you buy monster hunter, luigis mansion (or other game), and animal crossing, and your missus has a seperate club nintendo account for which she registers the 3ds, by giving her the free monster hunter download (Make sure she links her 3ds to her club nintendo account first!), and the animal crossing download, you could claim a second game from the "So many games promotion" if you bought just one more game. Leading to 7 games in total, for the price of 4 under the proviso that 2 are monster hunter and 2 are animal crossing.

Winner.

Never played a Monster Hunter game, and neither has she... could be a giggle.

Thanks.

No, I already said this is incorrect. Amazon DE doesn't do free shipping to Sweden, Norway, Greece, Finland, Denmark, Poland or whatever and none of these countries have their own storefront. Get your facts straight.

AH what the hell! Amazon.it stopped shipping the 3DS XL to Portugal for some reason :(

Excluding Amazon.it, what would now be the cheapest? I'm seriously running out of affordable options... :'(

This is the monster hunter promo in question.

Now that I think about it, if you can get someone to give you a recommendation code on neogaf, you won't even have to buy the first copy of monster hunter. Head on over to the thread and ask, quite a few have been given away, so its worth a try.

Basically I don't trust it. Maybe it's all legit but I don't understand how it works and is beneficial for all involved (flubit, the supplier and myself). I am also a bit worried about what happens if it all goes wrong - what fall back do I have? £250 is a lot of money to go down the drain...
Warranties is also what I worry about. You might get a gift so no receipt. Plus with electronics you can easily wind up with grey imports (which are also a warranty problem). Finally, Flubit and suppliers...well, for this tent seller Flubit just placed an order with him out of the blue.

So gzoop canceled my Mario 3DLand order after I contacted them.
That and Gzoop being a bit patchy is why I didn't bother. Still it was a missprice I guess. In those situations it is much better to just cancel ASAP and everybody moves along with their lives just like what happened with the Lonne...spoke too soon.

Where did systemfehler or I say that Amazon DE would do free shipping to Sweden, Norway, Greece, Finland, Denmark, Poland or whatever?
We both said that Amazon DE counts as official store for Austria and that's actually correct. Go to http://www.amazon.at for proof.

Sweden+Finland+Denmark+Poland for example get super saver delivery for orders => 25pounds from Amazon UK.

And the 2 missing - Norway+Greece - did get super saver delivery (for orders from Amazon UK again) - the service was just stopped a few weeks ago.

You could say that these countries belong to Amazon UK and that's why Amazon DE doesn't offer free shipping. It seems the only 3 countries that get free shipping from both Amazon sites are Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands.

If I would live in Austria, I would definitely prefer getting free shipping for orders from Amazon UK instead of getting free shipping for orders from Amazon DE. Prices at Amazon DE suck for the most part.

The Last of Us £24.99 pre-owned with the code bag5.

http://market.blockbuster.co.uk/product/ps3/ps3-games/281609/the-last-of-us-sights-and-sounds-pack-dlc.htm

If you're happy with the pre-owned version seems pretty cheap!

I'm still tempted to go digital download... I like having it just there!

Edit: Hmm seems its a pre-order for July 20th. Might be a good deal if you're happy to wait

Mmm,could be worth a throw if it's not cheaper by then.
Lovefilm just removed it from my rental queue and said the game is no longer available to rent 10 days after release.
Not sure if demand was too high or Sony made them do it, but I'm pissed they had two discs of mine and never told me they were removing it from rentals.

So this is somewhat surprising.

I had placed 2 orders on Amazon UK on Saturday. One was Fire Emblem: Awakening, the other contained some BluRays and books. One of the books in the 2nd package was not in stock and will be shipped later. Which is why I made too separate orders, because Fire Emblem had to arrive this week, and the rest wasn't as urgent.

So today I get my order, turns out they actually put everything from those two separate orders together in just one package. :-) (except ofcourse for the book that's wasn't currently in stock)

I knew they something split up orders, but I didn't know they would actually merge them.

Excluding Amazon.it, what would now be the cheapest? I'm seriously running out of affordable options... :'(

I have asked the exact question a few pages back. Amazon.it have stopped shipping electronics outside Italy. But no one cared...

What steam games do you have available?

A digital version doesn't have a code btw, it automatically registers to the Club Nintendo account your 3DS is linked to when you download the game.

people, do you know any non UK sites with free shipping on games to Eu? With reasonable prices I mean.

Play-Asia if you order over $25 (Hong Kong site).
The other local Amazon storefronts, depending on where you live.
WowHD (they also have different regional storefronts (wowhd.co.uk, wowhd.de,...), but are based in Hong Kong)

Oh, and Base.com are partially Switzerland based. They have a "3rd party seller" called BaseCH, which sends your orders from the Swiss Confederation.

Got a physical Animal Crossing Club Nintendo code if anybody wants it. I only bought that game so no chance for me with the promotion, might as well spread the love. Send me a PM if you're interested. EDIT: Gone!

Picked up BF3 for PS3 for £7 at Morrisons yesterday. So if anyone like me is hesitant with shooters but always wanted to try it, there's that. They also had Doom 3 BFG for the same price.

I think BF3 is coming onto PS Plus in a couple of days, so I'd put the £7 toward that instead ;-)

Hmm

So I realized that if I register Monster Hunter tri I will be able to get a total three games (as I already have Luigi, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing and has yet to register any of them).

But now there is a minor problem, I don't think I will be able to get a copy home to Sweden until the deadline. How is the best way to solve it (any fast online retailer or I remember seeing digital codes for sale)? And what does the game cost on the UK eshop (not home right now so cannot see it)? And finally, can I buy the game from my 3ds XL I have yet to register without getting it automatically registered?

Right.
Normally they send out cheaper stuff from Switzerland and more expensive stuff from UK. Which means noone should ever have to pay VAT at customs.

UK wise I'm pretty sure only GAME sells digital codes. GAME has a digital code for £32.99 which is cheaper than the eShop who has it up for £39.99.

That said, if you haven't registered your 3DS XL yet, you can probably head over to that free monster hunter thread. Anyone who bought Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate got a free code which gives a free copy of the game to someone who has just bought a 3DS. If you havent registered your 3DS yet, it should still work as it would seem new to their system?

The idea is to buy a copy of Monster Hunter and register it: The code will then be given to my brother. (first game)

I will then register Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem + the copy of the already registered Monster Hunter will provide me with another free game (another animal crossing for example)

The new Animal Crossing+luigis mansion + the extra monster hunter code will give me Donkey Kong Country. Am I right? Or have I misunderstood the system?

If it works, I will order Monster Hunter from Game later this evening.
