You would know exactly how tough it is, since the Pats have never done it.

P.S. 1-0 by 29 points against Kaep. Based on the actual things happening on the field, your team is the one built to get smashed by them - although I don't blame you for trying to forget about that game. It was pretty embarrassing for the Pats.
aw how cute, a cheatin pete fan deciding which cheating is acceptable and unacceptable.

and i'm pretty sure the niners didn't smash the pats, i distinctly remember tom brady leading the greatest comeback of all-time against them, only to be stifled by his own defense. it's a shame the chox have a midget for a quarterback instead of a dreamy jesus slinger.

go gata

He performed well enough to get a new contract though instead in doing nothing and getting traded to the Raiders for some Starbucks giftcards and smoked salmon bagels.

That's true. Luckily, the guy who tried to sabotage our team by drafting Curry has been replaced by genius GM John Schneider.

You know your team is in bad shape when you care more about showing some spine when down by 30 than actually winning games.

you know your team is in bad shape when you resort to posting a gif of a touchdown pass thrown against a learning deficient secondary over and over again.

i understand that you're excited that your quarterback is finally capable of actually throwing the ball, but continuing to post that is not going to magically make wussell grow 5 inches and become a goat qb like tom terrific. maybe your team can do more than show some spine against the falcons next year, i know the feeling of coming oh so close to winning a game in the final minutes. thank god i've experienced those games from the other point of view too, can you say the same?

Maybe "genius" Belicheat should have drafted/signed better DBs!

Russell doesn't need to grow. He can already beat "goat" Tom Brady, he shouldn't need to improve anything!

Considering neither of our teams has ever won a Super Bowl, I can safely say we've experienced the same things!

U Mad, has never been more appropriate.

Absolutely loved Aaron... what a piece of shit, looking at his face while they recapped everything made it so clear he's going to jail for a long time.

Belichick drafts the greatest players possible, but sometimes the concept of the Patriot Way is just too much to handle, and their small minds can't compete in the perfect learning environment that Bill created.

When Bill reaches for a player that has a low draft stock, you know that he sees something deep in their soul that is shouting to him "make me a Patriot and I will reward you with clean superbowl wins." That's how he drafted Tom of course.

Sadly, some players are easily swayed by the devils of this world, such as the Rex's or the Pete's. These players pay the ultimate price when they disobey Bill, and they either go to jail or are sentenced to eternal damnation on the Jaguars.

I do find it interesting that all of the Pats' "risk-reward" moves that had worked so well for so long have been biting them in the ass the past couple of seasons. Law of averages, I suppose.

Did you guys really turn this thread into a Pats vs Seahawks thread? In a MURDER thread? I mean, we do have an NFL thread...

Also lol at the photo with the gun. Seriously, how can he be that dumb?

For anyone who missed the arraignment live, there's video here from a local news station. A little tough to hear but headphones help.

Anyone ever watch that show The First 48? This is like that, but the every single lead they check turns up evidence. It's an investigator's wet fucking dream.

CNN talked to the sheriff of Bristol County and he said that Hernandez "did not seem nervous" during the intake process because he's such a gangsta.

He also said the guy's tats are suspicious, and gang unit's going to see if they can link him to any gangs.

Acting like he's hard, enjoy your life in prison dumbshit.

Isn't that amazing, though? This is a guy who has all the money and talent in the world, but for a moment in time, none of that mattered to him. I think it's fascinating how he allegedly popped the guy a mile away from his house, made no attempt to move or hide the body, and spit his gum out before walking away like a g who's been there before.

You gotta wonder what other stuff he has done. This sounds way too cold blooded to be a first time thing. I mean it barely seems like he made any attempt to cover up the crime.

Usually with first time kills, it's very sloppy...but because people tend to panic afterwards. They make attempts to cover up the crime, but their nerves make them overlook things. Stupid things. This doesn't look or sound like that at all. Looks like he just wanted to kill the dude, walked away and figured he could just move on.

You're a millionaire! Morals aside, you could have paid someone like $15,000 (maybe less) to do this. Never would have even had a connection to the weapon or the crime scene.

Sounds like he is just a short tempered moron. If you want an example of a real NFL G, look at Marvin Har---

But that's exactly what he did...

Can you be more specific in your posts? I still don't know what you meant originally.

You know, if you have to explain a joke, it's probably proof that the joke was terrible to begin with.

It was meant as a joke about the inevitable controversy that follows gloating about prison rape on NeoGAF. It had nothing to do with the actual topic concerning the appropriateness of rape-related topics in humor.

Its sad when you have millions of dollars, are great at your profession, and yet you can't get your mind out of the gutter. This guy has thrown his life away for nothing. Taking pics with a gun? Having a tattoo of "money on my mind" on his stomach? Sounds like a typical thug who's listened to a bit too much rap.

This is the same guy who was talking to kids and doing charity work for the community. Sheesh.

Dont blame rap.
AH was about that life

Where can I read a summary of what's happened up to this point?

It seems people are sure he did it now. (Reds have been shitting it up, so I have no desire to watch sports news coverage) But, I apparently missed a lot here.

he's an idiot. Probably bipolar or something too. There's a reason that after interviews with NFL scouts, a guy with his talent dropped as far in the draft as he did. I believe some scout said he'd end up in prison and was "moody and violent". The amount of money had was irrelevant.

I call bullshit. If he was such a dangerous criminal, then why didn't the Bengals draft him? It just doesn't add up.

So to sum it up:

They have him on tape with the victim.

They have him on tape entering the industrial park at the time of the murder.

They have workers in the park confirming they had gunshots at this time.

They have him on tape leaving the industrial park after the gunshots.

They have him on his home surveillance system with the murder weapon in his hands after the murder.

They found a gun casing from the murder weapon in the rental car.

This, not to mention him destroying his home security system and cell phone. What an absolute moron. My heart goes out to the victim's family. I hope justice is served in this case.

I know it's wrong, but sometimes reading this stuff makes me wonder how I'd do it.

Don't forget the gum!

What the hell is the story with Marvin, I've read articles that make it seem like he's insane and straight up running his old hood in Philly. Definition of keeping it real
