Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| We Need To Go Cheaper

I saw Gears Of War Judgement for 29€ at Media Markt Germany today and I was astonished because the game is still sold for ~40pounds in the UK. When the hell does it get a price drop?! I want the game to break the 15pounds limit.

Wasn't the game like £20-£25 on Amazon some time ago along with GoW: Ascension? Or am I remembering wrong? I'm pretty damn certain Judgment was in the low 20's some time ago but I might be remembering wrong.

Anyone have any idea what NSMB2 on 3DS is worth on trade in at game etc? Considering two £140 3DSXLs from amazon with free NSMB2 but don't need the game so would trade it in to bring the net cost down.

Dunno about NSMB2, but if you want I can give you 5 quids for one of those two 3DS XL Club Nintendo codes.

Sorry to keep banging on about this but this is the last time, I promise.

So today's the last day of the 3DS "So Many Games" promotion. I still need a couple of one more Club Nintendo code. I have Steam games to trade:

GalCiv Complete Pack
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
BioShock 1
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Poker Night 1
Anything else on Steam up to a value of £7

If anyone can help, please let me know before tonight. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Thanks to Duo014 who supplied me a CN code in exchange for a couple of Steam games, I just need one more code now!

Thanks very much to Duo014 and Mr.Sam who both helped out with this!

I am a guy based on Germany and I am as cheap as it gets so I'd like to spend no more than € 149 euros on a new 8GB WiiU.

is it possible to find a radical sale in stores or online selling for this price?? maybe €179?

I spent a few minutes having a quick look (I'm not very good with retailers outside the UK). For a new copy Amazon France has stock for €32.45. German and Spain Amazon are a bit more (~€35) both have 1 copy of the German version (I'd imagine these to be the exact same copy).

Amazon Italy is cheaper (27.99) but backorder with no date (so probably won't happen).
This price is really high compared to what the game offers. Seriously.
I must have a spare sealed copy laying around (I cannot confirm it ATM). PM me if you are still interested.
Gladly.

i think there is no way.

cheapest was some days/weeks ago 8gb for around 180€(saturn and media markt).

and some days ago there was the 32gb/zombi u pak for ~230€ (mediamarkt auf deren internetpräsenz von 22-6uhr).

after the fails of ps4/xbone you wont get the wii u system any cheaper because nintendo is going to deliver again.

maybe around christmas again?

wow, did it really happen? That would have been a great price, Sadly I missed it. Is there a chance it will come back? I mean, there are a lot of weeks until Q4 and they have to get rid of the 8GB that nobody wants, right?

so, has amazo.co.uk removed the free shipping to european countries recently (Spain)? they've lost me if they have

I think so.
I couldn't get free delivery in an order I placed a week ago (to Spain too), no matter what combination of items I got in my basket (I was purposedly trying to get my order over 25 pounds to get the free delivery).

From the Amazon.co.uk Help section

Amazon UK on FREE Super Saver Delivery said:

Spend to qualify: £25

So Gibraltar: yes. Spain: no.

Edit: it also says this

It's super unfair that austria isn't part of this :(

On the other hand, shipping from sellers on the amazon.uk marketplace is mostly very cheap.

ok, thanks for the answers. I bought a 3ds xl two weeks ago and all was fine, but today I could not select the free option. Thankfully I can ship free to my office in Belgium, as I travel there very often.

Just bought Lego City Undercover for Wii U, only £34.85 at Shopto. They have some nice deals this Sunday so take a look.

Looking for some GAFer opinion on what I think might be a pretty good value. I'm in the market for a mid-tier sort of laptop. I have a ridiculous/OTT gaming PC, so I'm not too concerned about having something crazy, as this will be a secondary machine used for bedroom/downstairs web browsing/video watching and working (writing) when travelling.

I've seen a 15.6 inch laptop with a 3rd gen Intel Core i5-3230m Processor (3m cache, up to 3.20 ghz), 8gb DDR3 SDRAM @ 1600 MHZ, 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7730m Graphics, Bluray, 4x USB 3.0, HDMI/VGA out, and Windows 8 License.

It's £500 delivered. A Dell. Worth a punt? The laptop it's replacing isn't even 64 bit, so it's quite a step, really.

That will be more than adequate for what you want, however, what are your feelings on Windows 8? A lot of people think it's okay, a lot of other people don't like it. It doesn't include Media Center by default so unless Dell have included some software with it, you may need to install something before you'll be able to play DVDs or Blurays.

now this is shitty news for me..
guess it's back to square one, with me buying off zavvi/thehut/game/etc..
paying 6 pounds as shipping expenses to italy won't really cut it, sorry amazon you've lost me..

You could try Ebay I've seen codes for LM2, AC & a few others from £8 to £13. Pricey but not bad for a game that would otherwise be £30+.

Unfortunately I'm not set up for buying things on ebay yet, I kept meaning to get around to getting a prepaid card to link to Paypal but never got it sorted, and there's only 4 hours left so I don't think I'd be able to get one in time.

Help me out here UK GAF, atm where's the cheapest to get these 3DS games:
Mario and Luigi Dream Team
Prof. Layton for 3DS
Project X Zone
Dr. Lautrec

Zavvi just dispatched my 16€ God of War Ascension.
Will see if the game deserves all the bashing (
For 16€, I guess it doesn't :)

Mario is £27.85 at Shopto, PxZ is £22 at Amazon and you can also try Flubit for both. For Layton I'd probably try ebay. Lautrec is £15 new and £10 used at Grainger Games, but I've no idea if that's the best price.

Was in there earlier, they had stuff like Tomb Raider, AssCreed3, for £15. My local tesco only has a small game section though

Thanks.

Was just wondering if it will be worth a browse, or if I should just go straight for the grocery tedium. Browse it is :)
