Is the HD PS3 version based on the US or PAL version of the game?

I believe that the US HD Collection is based on the US PS2 games and the EU HD Collection is based on the EU PS2 games. As far as I remember playing on my EU HD Collection, the thing in the cage is still a monster and not a human.

Hopefully someone else can confirm.

Mr. Bean Complete Box Set Suitcase edition (complete series + complete animated series + first 2 movies on 12 DVDs) - 20pounds

EDIT: Found a video of that edition http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1lDe6s8GEQ

EDIT 2: Wow, I think I got the last one. It's now sold out. Hopefully they won't cancel my order /fingers crossed

£199 for a WiiU basic and Nintendland?

I can't decide if it's a good deal or not.....so freaking tempting. I'm so confused.

The premium [?] package is a much better deal and better value if you can afford it, if you don't mind me saying.

Although the way the console is going I think it's only a matter of time before there is a price crash [sadly]. So unless you need it NOW!!! you might be better off waiting for a bit?

I've said already I don't think the premium is the deal for me. The HDD's still small so an upgrade is always needed no matter what package I choose and to be honest I don't like Nintendo's online ownership policy enough to be going digital with them anyways, outside of Virtual Console and WiiWare. So the Premium discount doesn't bother me either.

..so that really leaves me with Nintendoland....which is included in this deal.

Crikey, I'm totally talking myself into this. :/ My biting price was always £150 for a Basic, but that was without a game.

Hah! Glad to help :P.

Sorry, I hadn't seen your earlier posts about this so please forgive my insensitive response.

The important thing is that you come to a decision that is right for you.

Hopefully, although in a clumsy way, I have helped you move closer to that point.

The Wii U is really quite a lovely little console despite a still sluggish O/S and dearth of games. Both however shall improve.

Enjoy it, whenever you get to it! :)

I made a cup of coffee and then came back and ordered it, lol.

ASDA will probably do another price drop tomorrow, but I don't care. It's ordered and I'm very excited.

So....what's the lowest prices people have seen for NSMBWU and ZombiU?
:p

Hi EuroGAF.

So...Croatia is in the EU now. Amazon.co.uk "opened the floodgates" and I can preorder/order gaming hardware and other goodies that I couldn't have done before. Sweet. \o/

So, what's your take on ordering hardware from there? Especially you non-UK folks? Any tips & recommendations are welcome.

Also, any good places besides Amazon.co.uk for ordering HW?

Thanks

I ordered my 3DS and PS3 from Amazon UK.
My 3DS was faulty, but you don't even need to send it back to Amazon. Nintendo replaces it free of charge.
So no problems whatsoever here.

The only thing you need to take into account are the UK plugs.

Thanks for the info.

And I know about the plugs. Too bad. :/

Honestly the only things that interest me are 3DS XL (which doesn't come with an AC adapter which, in my case, is good) and Wii U...but I'll wait for some sort of a megaton deal on that. :)

edit: oh, and I noticed Amazon's shipping on games is MUCH larger than say base.com or Zavvi. :/

That depends on where you live really. For me it's mostly free. Maybe Amazon Italy or Germany has free shipping for Croatia (for orders over 20 euros).

Best place to get Chrono Trigger (DS)? What prices should I be expecting? 20-25GBP new? sub 20 used?

Seems like it. I can't seem to find anything cheaper right away.

I have a question myself: is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PSN) worth getting? I vaguely heard that it's a pretty bad version of the game as compared to the US one. Would pick it up now that it's on sale (and if it's ok).

Persona 4 Golden (Vita) (US edition) is 18,98 euros on Play-Asia.

Play-Asia also have some cheap (english language) Korean editions of a few games for sale:

Resident Evil (Bio Hazard) Revelations (Unveiled Edition) (Korean Edition but English language) is 13,64 euros at Play-Asia: 360 / PS3.
Note: DLC will likely not work with this version.

Metro: Last Light (Limited Edition) (Korean Edition but English language) is 14,40 euros at Play-Asia: 360 / PS3
Note: DLC will likely not work with this version.

Remember Me (360) (Korean edition) for 11,35 euros at Play-Asia.
Note: DLC will likely not work with this version.

COD Black Ops II (Wii U) £18.00 at amazon.co.uk.

Wanted to buy this, but 9 pounds for shipping to Europe 3? What the hell...

Also: Assassin's Creed 3 - Join or Die Edition (Wii U) £27.00 at amazon.co.uk. This seems really cheap, hope it's not an error.

Thanks a lot for Black Ops 2 Wii U !
I also took Tekken Tag 2 Wii U for £17.99, not in stock right now but I can wait.
I was waiting that these games get cheaper.

I'm in Eastern Europe and only see PC downloads and DLC, nothing for consoles :/

You can use a proxy to see the ubi stores from other countries. I did that once to order AC3 from the English Ubi Store while I live in France.

Awesome! \o/

No idea on NSMBWU I'm afraid but given it's a mainline Nintendo game it is unlikely to be had for cheap generally unless a retailer decides to clear their stock of the game for some reason. So you could try the Hut/Zavvi with a 10% off code or a Game download code plus price tracker sites like find game and gamestracker.

Zombiu is only £24.99 on the eShop and I think it's been at that price for awhile. There's a demo on there too so you can try it out to see if the game is for you or not.

Does anyone know where to get Wiimotes with motion plus for the cheapest? I'm planning on selling my wii resort bundle and I can get maybe 70-90 euros for it max so if the wiimote and nunchuck are mad expensive, i'm not really making any profit :b

They don't really go for cheap honestly, they are in high demand on ebay. I settled for motionplus attachments because they usually go cheaper.

Very much so. Its a fairly decent port with nothing major missing

Well that makes selling a Wii bundle with motion plus controller a stupid idea... Maybe I'll just donate the console and the box somewhere because I need the space.
