Fighting Games Weekly | July 1-7 | Heel turns, shattered dreams, broken cages

Found my pools. Got a bye in KOF13 first round. Kelvin is the only person I recognize in my SFxT pool (so I might get out of pools if I'm playing 100%). AE, I've got Haitani in the opposite side of my pool and some international folks on my side.

This year will be fun.
 
Clearly the women was at fault. She took advantage of RayRay. Thirsty for that young D while she was dating Noel. SMH.

We don't even know if RayRay knew that was Noel's girl. My guess is no.

Also there is quite the international presence for Marvel. Almost every bracket had at least one international person in it although I didn't know who it was most of the time.
 
Got a bye in my SF4 pool, but if the guy before me loses, I may be facing against Bigdanmul, who supposedly has a really good Makoto.

I got JRosa and OMGItzAndre in my Marvel pools...so I'm probably not going to make it out :(

Other than that, I am super hyped for EVO. Going to be fucking insane this year to say the least.

Only person I played in my pool for UMVC3 is HaZ FizzyKups. Cool guy, hanged out with him at Salt Fest. Now to look up info on the other guys. :D
 
So you guys are saying that if one night you're out having a good time, get a couple drinks in ya...you go back up to your room for the night hoping to get some sleep with your lady you walk in your room and not only is she cheating on you, she's cheating on you with someone you know fairly well they're sitting they're buck ass naked going to town on each other you're going to handle the situation how? Shrug your shoulders and walk out? Cry? Ask RayRay politely to please stop thrusting? Nah man anyone with testosterone is going to fucking lose it right there I don't care who you are.

Let's not paint Noel out to be some major villain here, as long as he didn't straight up punch the girl or hit her repeatedly then this just sounds like a terrible situation that anyone would have gotten caught up in.

Should Zak be "punished" for Moonz' under-achieving year, though? It's debatable.

Ultimately, I don't think seeding by skill is that important for fighting game tournaments because it's impossible to be objective about it, and if you're going to finish in the money then you're going to have to knock off some top talent sooner or later anyway.

Seeding by region is more important imo.

Same thing with any seeding. He might get through Moonz and then have a clean run until winners semi-finals or something. Just the luck of the draw.

But purposely not putting him in the same pool because he might be considered good is bracket fixing. He is unseeded and evo decide pools based on seeding and region.
