Even so, I serious doubt the gaming catalog for both systems will be vastly different apart from first parties.
You do realize the size of world wide studios crushes MS team at the moment right?

Looks like an alright piece of hardware, but that blue stripe really kills it for me. I'll be going Xbox One for the superior industrial design.
I'm sure TGS will change this fact. But RIGHT now the Xbox One have more games announced for it.

Sony have a much better record of supporting their console with a nice variety of content throughout its entire life. MS do not, they support their console with a nice variety of games for the first couple years then they skim support to just their heavy hitters. MS have a lot to prove.
Umm...OK?You do realize the size of world wide studios crushes MS team at the moment right?

The thing is that you can say that the PS3 ran down the Xbox 360 because of they lack of new exclusives (technically wrong) or because of their focus on Kinect (This is right) or because they stop supporting it (technically wrong) or lack of indie game support or whatever reason you can say. But I can just see the PS3 being outsold Month by month and year by year in the States and UK and having such a negligible lead world wide that can be reversed in one holiday season.
I don't see how that's the PS3 ramming the 360 or Microsoft dying as punishment because they forgot their roots, it seems like fanboy hyperbole.
Remember that IGN Questionnaire where a majority of developers thought Xbox One would be the sales leader within 5 years....
Ahhh....those were the days....

Sorry I misread your commentUmm...OK?
What about the games, though? I really like what MS is doing with games for the One. More than Sony (I've had my fill of Infamous and Killzone, thanks). Obviously the situation is fluid but I think MS obviously worked very hard to get titles out there for gamers to latch onto. In the end, I don't care about what type of RAM is bolted onto the motherboard. I just want cool games. If the RAM acts as a proxy for better games, great. Let me see it. I haven't seen it yet.
I have both preordered, but I'll only keep one at most. Right now the frontrunner is the One, honestly.
I've said it in my last reply to you and will say it in this one. What exclusives did the 360 get this late in the generation? Does it have a swan song ala The Last Of Us?
Even so, I seriously doubt the gaming catalog for both systems will be vastly different apart from first parties.
What are these indie games on ps4 that's suppose to be system sellers? Serious question? The PS4 already has a massive advantage in downloadable-only titles, and until Microsoft changes their policies I don't see that changing.
So this has turned in a XBOne VS PS4 thread it seems... sheesh.
Xbox one could still reign supreme quite easily. :/
Agreed. The Japanese landscape is not changing at all. Xbox one will flop there. No argument. The sells from x1 will undoubtedly come from the west like it did this gen, thus, western development will be the main developers.Well I think the smaller Japanese studios are probably going to support the PS4 more than the Xbox One too. Just like the PS3.

Journey received critical and commercial success worldwide. After its release, it became the fastest-selling game to date on PlayStation Store in both North America and Europe.[32] At the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo, prior to release, the game won awards for best download game from 1UP.com, GameSpy, and GameTrailers.[33] After publication, the game was heavily honored at end of the year awards. Journey was selected as the best game of the year by IGN and GameSpot, among others.[
This is incorrect. There's a list somewhere here that shows that PS4 actually has more titles announced on their console.I'm sure TGS will change this fact. But RIGHT now the Xbox One have more games announced for it.

My post said what ps4 indie game is a system seller. :/Wasn't Journey GOTY?
Five years is a long time tech wise. Who knows what could happen by then.

I don't recall you shitting on Sony because $599 and Blu-ray trojan horse. Why is that? You heard it here first people. We went emo for defending our consumer rights. We should just bend over and take it and leave all of these anti consumer pro corporations decision alone.

The PS4 will have a vast library of indie games. That's the "system seller".

Precisely, because it looks like exclusives will be far and few between next-gen, they become a much less smaller argument for each one of the consoles. That's when you start looking at other factors, such as price/size/indie friendliness/subscription benefits/power.
Looking at those factors alone, it's kinda not even debatable that the PS4 comes ahead of the Xbone.
- $399 vs $499
- PS4 is smaller than the Xbone
- Sony has a stronger support for Indie developers than MS by allowing self-publishing and highlighting indie developers that need highlighting (e.g. not Notch and Minecraft)
- PS+ have tangible gamer benefits, by coming with 1 new game every month, which Xbox Live Gold does not.
- PS4 has faster RAM, a more powerful GPU, and more available RAM for games according to fact and very strong speculation.
Incredibly unprofessional of them.
They just lost thier reputation on by resorting to fanboy bullshit.
