I'm not saying they are one in the same but they do reflect poorly on the FGC and in this case a long standing member of an fgc group.

In the end this just causes unneeded friction between people in the community. Look at Rolando's tweet back it's clear they feel like you're taking pot shots because of your pro SRK / Evo stance.

Triforce was forthcoming with the details as to why these players like Die are not going and it ended up being a personal matter relating to work.

I talked with a lot of people in the time that tweet happened and realized I made some mistakes. I've tried to better myself by watching what I tweet a lot more since that time. Just because I made a mistake on something that was public doesn't mean what's going on right now is somehow justified. Trying to dig into someone's personal life through hacked accounts disgustingly crosses a line that any sensible person has to agree with.

Triforce and Rolando can actively debunk these rumors and defend themselves. The individual who was hacked now has all their personal business out there that can forever be repeated by whoever decides to post them wherever. When this community is being accused of being sexist as hell, this incident does nothing but hurt the situation and by asking for links to said gossip you are in turn perpetuating the sexist stereotype of this community as a whole.

Why some of you don't understand that is well beyond me. But none of what I said matters because I irresponsibly tweeted a rumor and Injustice started at 9.

The problem is your attitude. You're right, but you don't have much standing to point down at people for being drama hens or whatever from your marble pedestal when you're guilty of pretty similar shit.

While I'm not disagreeing with you, what was leaked wasn't sexist or purports a sexist stereotype. It's just mad dirty laundry that is getting blown up since it's from a semi famous (not really famous since who the hell cares about being good at fighting games irl) person.

Tbh you probably could get the same enjoyment from watching jerry springer or maury
 
Just popped in TTT2, I really like it. I know it's hard but it's ironically the fighter I like the most as someone who is a complete novice in fighting games. The extra unlocks and customization are a nice distraction for a casual like me when I get frustrated. I am looking up LYG's tutorials on Steve, Bruce and King now. One question though, does Armor King have Death Cradle in his move list?

It's not hard. Just put some time in the lab and get your movement down pat and you will be ok. No death cradle only death sandwich

I get what both you guys are saying, but know its a bit different when you're airing out the personal business of a woman in the community. Regardless of the context, when you have a reputation of being sexist then decide to eat up the personal business of one of the few prominent women in the community, it looks bad all around. It's not just some Jerry Springer shit, its one of those episodes where he brings porn stars on and all the dudes harass and objectify them. That might not be exactly everyone's intentions, but that's how its going to look.

While I may have been an idiot in the past, its still very unrelated to actively pursuing hacked information of a woman. I'm not justifying what I did, but it doesn't mean you get to blow off what I said because somehow tweeting a rumor is the same as digging through someone's personal information.
 
Just going to vent a few thoughts that I've been having lately.

I'm starting to really dislike all the FGC drama and it feels like its taking the wind out of EVO's sails. The fact that people are picking at Chindogg's old tweets just to keep some rumors going is straight up duuuuuumb.

Some people seem to really want to get the inside baseball of the FGC and it just takes the focus out of the competition. Since I started playing FGs competitively, I've never felt like I was being exploited by TOs to get my money (except by ReveLAtions), so I don't understand why the notion of TOs are making real money is so prevalent. In addition, since my brother and I have started streaming local FG weeklies, we know all too well the expense of running an event.

I'm not going to miss the players that are skipping out on EVO. If players are protesting the event for whatever dumb reason, then they're missing out on a prime opportunity to raise their stock in the eyes of potential sponsors and among their community.
