Silva da God got this one. Anyone remember the first thing Silva said when they interviewed him about Weidman? "This will be a good fight for him but not for me. He is young and needs experience" or something to that effect. Anyone thinking Silva hasn't had diesel ass dudes wrestling him the whole time to practice takedown defense is fooling themselves. Silva will beat Wideguy, he'll get called a can crusher, and then we can hype up the next poor schlub Dana can throw at him.

Which of the following underdogs did Heel pick to dethrone current or former UFC Champions?

A. Chad Mendes over Jose Aldo
B. Yushin Okami over Anderson Silva
C. Brock Lesnar over Canister Overeem
D. GIlbert "da fraud" Melendez over Benson Henderson
E. A, B, & D

It'll be funny if Weidman somehow does worse than Bonnar.

Who can Silva even fight next in his division if he demolishes Weidman?

Vitor? LOL

Apart from Okami and Lesnar, I'm alright with those picks.
ESPECIALLY Gilbert. Henderson lost his last 3 fights on some score cards.

Okami Yushin-kun freezing up in the clutch is my only regret and coined the phrase "Having an Okami moment"

Mendes is still #1 contender in that division and only getting better, Gil tha Gawd beat Bendo Christ Superstar.

Chad over Aldo should make you blush playboy.

I sleep well at night knowing it's nothing compared to "Cody McKenzie will choke out Chad Mendes"

Honestly nobody cares about small time. You gotta step up and stop shrinking in the big moments.

Hey who here called for Mark Hunt to win against Dos Cantos anyway?!

You'll be singing a different tune when Heel the MMA Soothsayer shocks da whirl one more time. I'm the gypsy fortune teller of this MMA shit.

Sometimes you strikeout when you swing for the fences, playboy. Lemme know when you're ready to point your bat to the bleachers and call your shot.

I like the way you scrap Heel, but even Chamber can read the brochure. Father time is undefeated. But I'll shoot from deep with 3 seconds to go, don't be scared. Hespect the GOAT, Serpentine about to spit that truth you dig hand reader?

Just know that any bum off the street can pick favorites and feel like a genius. It's another ballgame to spot a live dog like the legend killer Christopher Weidman.

I'm clutch like Steve Kerr from the wing in this MMA shit, playboy. But even the best to ever do it didn't shoot over .500 from deep, ya dig?

I'm not about that fair weather bandwagon you've been riding. I've been calling for Weidman to beat Anderson Silva since ways back, the dude is a pitbull. But it takes greatness to take a step back and see the bigger picture playboy. I sold that wolf ticket like Ali sold his soul, and I'm about to partake in this larger than life moment knowing that MMA gaf is gonna shake like the Whiteman's house in a stand off against nature coming in at 85 mph.

I got these buckets I need to sell.

Fair enough. Until then, just know you cannot judge a man out on a limb when you've never climbed a tree.

Some watch history unfold, some predict it. Christopher Weidman, your next Ultimate champion.

Everytime I hear that a Wrestler is a bad match up for Anderson Silva's style, I just laugh to myself.

Is all that nonsense coming from the first Sonnen fight (a fight that Silva won via sub)?

Do people forget what happened in the SECOND Sonnen fight?

I remember promises of a two piece future, but that Melendez tree got put up on display for liquidation.

Weidman about to become the next Pride champion, sponsored by Heelio.

I want to point out how perfect this was. lmao

Heel is the only dude that picked Cain against Two Cans.

Fuck that playboy, you might want to go back and check who the fucking conductor of the Cain train was.

Maybe he really is good, but what convinced me that UFC is fabricating the Weidman push was Chael Sonnen of all people coming out on the countdown and basically saying that he wanted no part of the guy. That every time he was being set up for another fight, he'd hope they wouldn't tell him that he'd have to fight Chris Weidman.

I call bullshit.

Silva by TKO round 2. Another guy people hype now but will say is a nobody when Anderson stomps him. Plus Silva needs to win so he can slap GSP around and then have Bones beat him into retirement. This is the most entertaining outcome. We really don't need another wrestlefuck champion

Well Dana is at it again:

On GSP not wanting to fight Silva: "There's no doubt about it – that's a fact. If that was the case, he'd say, 'F--k Weidman. I'll take that fight. I really think Weidman's going to beat him, but I don't want Weidman to beat him. I want to be the guy to beat him.'"

On being mystified as to why St-Pierre won't take the fight: "At the end of the day, he weighs 170 pounds. Any guy who's going to fight up in weight – 'I'm the man here at 170. If I thought I was the man at 185, I'd be at 185.' I get it. But it's a fight a lot of fans want to see, it's a big fight. It's a legacy fight, and it's a fight for the pound-for-pound best in the world. Georges St-Pierre could do this catchweight fight and he could still be the champ at 170. But what's crazy to me is, GSP opted to take a very dangerous fight (against Hendricks) at 170 without trying to take a dangerous fight at 185."

He better come up with someone else if Anderson wins, or hope Weidman wins so he can pimp a rematch, then a another rematch to settle it all

I haven't been following middleweight UFC much this past year, but once Anderson beats Weidman the division is pretty much squeaky clean, right? Is there anyone else who they can throw up against him? The one bad thing about Anderson is that (excluding Weidman) it's starting to seem it's less "who actually deserves a title shot" and more "who hasn't had a turn yet".
