Fedor also beat a lot of his top opponents at their own game whereas Silva was scared shitless to go to the ground with Maia, Sonnen and started the stand up clown show here as well to try to keep it on the feet with Weidman only it backfired.

Silva is a great fighter(one of the greatest) and great to watch but the hespect level is nowhere near as high with him.

i hate all the i told you so, he wasnt so good douche bags that come out to shit on a legend when he finally loses

Its not like he was compeltely outclassed.
If anything id say Silva lost....not that Weidman won(if that makes sense)

Mousasi should be a real threat at 185lbs. Nothing but respect for Anderson Silva. He has done this before, just never paid the price because his division is notorious for weak strikers. All it takes is 1 punch.

When the fight ended I was instantly "cockyest cock of all cocks" for anderson silva.

But after the speech and remembering all the interviews saying about how much he hated UFC direction and dindn't wanted to fight John Jonnes and all that stuff (specialy the "i hate the 'show' part of the sport" from Like Water documentary) I am starting to think that Anderson trew the fight not because he was payed, but because he wanted to TROLL Dana White saying that he does whatever he wants.
John Jonnes ? Nope .. not the greatest fighter anymore
GSP ? Nope .. the rematch needs to be done first.
And now he will get BIG MONEY for the rematch because he said to the interviewer that he don't want to do the rematch.

What I am saying is ... a diferent kind of cocky =P

lol srs, isn't Mayweather making like +$40 million a fight?

yup. there was a money breakdown...not counting the 8 week training camp and press conferences and what not...but per minute in the ring, Mayweather was making more than a million dollars lol

You don't throw a fight by getting KO'ed and absorbing that kind of head trauma.

Dana wanted money.

Does dana blink this much on a regular basis?

Dont think we could call this a spectacular knockout though.

Dana almost fainted twice, probably first time when Anderson got taken down, and the second time when Anderson actually fell.

This reporter is really taking it to Dana

I never watched a post-fight UFC conference before. I watch the fights regularly (and read these threads - posts 900-1100 are great in this one!) though. This conference is pretty great viewing, for someone who has nothing invested in the content.

The conferences are usually pretty good, even when they are train wrecks lol
