Why are people speculating the future of the site? Shouldn't the focus be on people grieving, coping and processing the situation?
Nah, I don't think anyone is getting banned for asking. Random baseless speculation is a different story, but even then it seems the ban hammer is being swung gently in here.
Um.. No?no chance that giantbomb continues on after this unfortunately, the loss of a great site

a topic on neogaf = a funeral?
FFS yourself
im not saying i like the questions about the cause of death but stop being so fucking dramatic
just dont answer and move on
How about you pretend to have a shred of human decency and not speculate on things without the facts?
If you wouldn't ask a question or make a comment at somebody's funeral, don't ask it in this thread. FFS. This is not hard.
"what happened?" is the number one question when someone young dies, even at the funeral.
Same way you ask when you see someone with a cast on, you immediately ask them what happened. It's not rude, it's natural.
I want a "LOVE RYAN DAVIS" shirt now.

The leading causes of death for his age group are.
1. Accident (mostly cars)
2. Suicide
3. Heart Disease
We know it wasn't a car accident, seems very unlikely it was suicide as he was just married. Number 3 combined with his weight seems the most likely. I don't think it is too insensitive to speculate. It would be insensitive to say he got what he deserves, or something like that.
I also am a little surprised by the responses in this thread. This is very sad, and shocking news, but the reactions seem a little extreme. I wonder how many people actually even knew him personally? It's almost as there is a competition going on to see who can be the most distraught by this news.
My condolences for his family and friends, the people who are actually heartbroken.
Wait..what? Did they say that?

I'm sure in time we'll know. Obviously not today, probably not tomorrow.
