3 streams at once is great. I wonder who is going to do quarter and semi finals though.
They might split those up as well.

Since they're not official streams I wonder if they will be promoted on the evo channels so people will know where to watch p4a.

I hope so. I don't think people are particularly spiteful against side streamers so as long as they're mentioned to the commentators, I'm sure they'll be promoted on stream.

I just looked at that preview and I realized that I forgot about Team Nemo. I thought I had talked about it already but it got lost during the time I was actually watching him play against Justin and PRRog..

I give that team a 9/10. Nova and Spencer are near BFF status, the Wire Grapple assist leads to big damage for Nova and they both DHC back and forth with each other. Nova's assist provide soft unblockable set ups and combo extensions for both characters. Bolts is an excellent assist for both Nova and Spencer. Wire Grapple benefits Strange a lot, both for incoming mix ups and big combo extensions but Strange is usually the anchor or a safe way to get Spencer in or to pile on the damage after Nova opens someone up, this team is not optimized for Strange. The only main problem with the team is that it's a bit tricky to get Dr Strange in as he lacks a safe DHC in but that is sort of negated by the fact that one of his hypers is SoV which has great utility.

Here is Mr. Wizard's explanation.
@EvilMrWizard 6m

The only games that are in the second hall are Injustice and Mortal Kombat. Hence why they have stream 2 on lockdown.

Seems like Tom Cannon is trying to help out the Persona guys out in regards to their side stream.

I have trouble giving any team weak to snapbacks a 9/10. Every 9/10 team or higher should function well in all orders and with any one character dead.

This is why any team with arthur can never be really good :(

Actually he kicks ass with assist but damn he can get blown up

Vergil/Arthur/Strider. 9/10 team at least. Safe Rapid Slash all day long, good synergy for any combination, and three top anchors so you always have a comeback opportunity.

You know what, that actually works hahahaha

Too bad learning Strider is harder than learning Tao in bb I want to keep my hands functional T-T

Yes:

Logistics: Logistics is the management of the flow of resources between the point of origin and the point of consumption

Substitute "EVO", "WB" and "money" in the right spots and it all works out.

Yep. =(

I don't have the gear to stream otherwise I'd try to bring my stuff and do it myself. Asked a few folks but not much can be done because of other responsibilities.

Haha what the fuck, so when all 200 MK9 players are done with pools by 3pm they're just going to have a dance-off or something?

That's the funniest part. It's such an obvious excuse.

You know what shocked me is that TTT2 is dead on the West Coast. Seems like only the EC give Tekken time (since Namco sponsors most of the events)

you think namco wouldnt be in the payolla too? Tekken not getting streamed as much as MK isnt a conspiracy payola thing

Hmm. I think Strider's primary difficulty is all the hit conversions you have to learn. His neutral game isn't that hard. Just cancel everything into qcb.S.

It's the hit conversions and the fact his max damage stuff is pretty taxing to do compared to the rest of the cast on the fly I say he's just a bit easier to use than Rocket combo wise honestly

If you are talking about Team Nemo, it functions in every order but is the least optimized when Strange ends up on point. I mean there are quite a few 10/10 end game team where if you snap in Doom, it's really not optimized for him at all.
doesn't zak bennet play firebrand, dorm, ammy? When did he switch out dorm for doom?
He swapped out Dorm for Doom quite a while back.

If I am being very generous to Wiz, maybe it has something to do with ease of communication and setups?
Well, at the very least you need a capture and rebroadcast setup and people to man the stream. That isn't highly mobile for sure. However, it's not like you can't take one setup offline then bring up a different one on the same stream.

Or moreover, you can use switchers to do it easily if you're worried aboout down time. It's a bit of extra up front setup but it's possible. I use an HDMI switcher for my basic streaming stuff. A few seconds of black screen before the picture comes back.
