Is it a new animation?

Knock it the fuck off. We don't need you causing drama here.

What drama? It can't be drama if it's full of joy and comedy!

i dont even know what the hell youre on about.

not even related pokemon, wtf does that mean? not the same type? who cares.

i know the story from the movie, what the fuck does that have to do with anything. i know the armor is canon in the Anime and not the games, it just would be cool if they used the armor is all im saying.

youre like speaking gibberish so, whatever lol.

Maybe English is not your native language? The Lucario comparison is stupid because there's nothing related to the two, so bringing it up is totally pointless.

And yes - that's the point - it's not canon in the games. Smash will not use it. Stop pushing it like people assuming Red is Ash and Green/Blue is Gary.

Good, good. The next step is realizing and admitting that new Pokemon have gotten progressively stupider looking since generation two.

Ahh this nugget. Generalizing one generation's worth by one mon.

I'd actually do the same thing to counter your argument but then that'd be stupid.

Is it a new animation?

I recall her doing that for her normal A.

Also I love how people keep on reeling the armor. It's not canon people. Team Rocket didn't clone Mewtwo! Mewtwo was born from Mew made by scientists with Fuji!

Mew being Mewtwo's mother and Mewtwo being a clone aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, "gene splicing" can (especially in this case) refer to cloning. We also still don't know Fuji's motives. There are theories, but nothing is really confirmed. Considering how popular Mewtwo's TR background is, they would likely attribute TR as Fuji's backer if they ever returned to the story.

And yet the new movie made it so that other scientists can do it too. And yes I know of that, but the process is different on game canon (cloned but released via birthing) vs. anime canon (test tubes).

For those on the whole mewtwo thing, this is sorta on/off topic, but...

*movie spoilers*
The Mewtwo in the newest movie is a 2nd Mewtwo, a female. She is capable of switching to that new form thanks to further experimentation by scientists.

Basically, we can get the old Mewtwo, or the newest movie version of Mewtwo, If they decide to bring Mewtwo back to Smash or not.

I suppose the game can get away with something a bit more controversial more easily. :-P

M16 is just a terrible mistake though. Personally, I don't feel like supporting the writer's decision when the same person is so arrogant and rude to fans. It's not a decision to empower the plot or anything. It's simply a result of this person being ignorant to Pokémon's legacy and being given a job he doesn't deserve.

Just to be clear, I'm not even necessarily against a second Mewtwo; Ranger 3, for example, can be argued to be canon, and I respect it much more. I just feel that it's too careless to play with older fans' intelligence like that.

Sounds more like an attempt (an asshole-ish attempt) at trying to avoid the question because he seems to have been asked about it a lot. And it's probably because of TPCi forcing that "new stuff for new viewers" angle.

The Pikmin KO'd Mega Man, Samus goes in for revenge.

They have always been best buddies. Their parent companies didn't celebrate their anniversaries.

What was the whole point of Dr. Fuji's lab being destroyed, him dying, everything else that could have gave clues on how to create Mewtwo, Dr. Fuji being a one of a kind scientist, and Mewtwo being a one of a kind project if any ole group of scientist can do what he did?

All it is is plot, nothing else.

Canon plot :P

Is it better to ignore it completely, or release a fan-made game? I suppose Nintendo could have legitimatized one of the numerous Metroid II remakes.
Sure Mega Man's was terrible, but they at least acknowledged it was his anniversary. Nintendo was like, "Samus? Metroid? Whatchu talkin' about?"

Also, where are these Metroid 2 remakes? I've never seen any other than AM2R.

I like the Samus shot, but is it just me or is her armour lacking sheen?

I mean, I'm sure in MP games, it was kinda "shiny", if you get what I mean. I never played Other M to know if it was intentionally dull though.

Maybe she doesn't polish her armor much. But how does she polish it? Where does she stash it?

All this talk of Pokemon canon is nonsense. Where in Pokemon canon does Lucario speak human languages?

Aura talk! No different from Mewtwo talking in Melee.

Pichu was probably my most favorite character in melee when i first started playing didnt get haters when they told me pichu sucked

His Side Smash Attacks were pretty strong. They could KO at pretty low %. So as long as you remembered to not use too many Electric moves, you'd be pretty safe.

It doesn't help that he's the lightest character in the game though.

:O

Mewtwo being psychic type and having a transformation could easily give him a more unique/fun moveset than Lucario. Not like they have to keep Mewtwo's crappy hitboxes from Melee.
