yeah Sega is doing 3 exclusive Sonic games for them, i dont see why they would cut Sonic.

No offense, but that comment don't make sense since Sakurai said that he wouldn't do balance by himself anymore and he would trust his team to helping out with his balance. I hope that Namco would help them out to make sure that it's balanced. Regardless of how many characters, there is always risk of broken characters.

I don't think Smash 4 would ever replacing Melee's position, but it might be little more popular than Brawl if Sakurai decided to do many right things in fans' eyes. Chance of that happening is low tho.

We'll need event matches for Mario, DK, and Pac called "Arcade" and one revolving around Yoshi, Kirby and Pac because they are three biggest gaming icons with an appetite.

I didn't realize comic con already started. They revealed Olimar, to most likely promote Pikmin 3, but there could be a very very small chance we get another character reveal. Those types of events seem like the best fit for reveals.

True, Melee is a special game but if 4 is truly closer to Melee in terms of gameplay, and Namco adds their fighting game touch, it might be able to get more players on board tournament-wise. Regardless, people will be playing this game but it's far too early to tell if it will overtake Melee. Probably won't. lol I wouldn't bet on it.

Have you seen competitive brawl at all? it's not nearly as fast, but it's way faster than the level I see most friends playing it at. It's just a lot more defense based and usually not as flashy.

And after all these years, I finally put melee back in and conquered wave dashing. It's weird how easy it seems now.
