That'd be sweet. I doubt it as they're obviously pushing the Wii U version further.
The Wii U one is very pretty and obviously far superior, but I'm just more of a portable gamer in general.

Not really. Just speculation on whether he'll make the cut or not. Then again there was that leak before E3.
Yeah, jumping into the thread at that point gave me the same reaction.
It's quite hard to include Pac-Man since Pac-Man as a character isn't really the Pac-Man everyone knows. The Pac-Man that would fit in SSB is just a yellow disc with a wedge taken out. But if Pac-Man was included, I think it'd be extremely difficult to make a character out of that design. Could be a good Final Smash, though.

I'm just thankful there's a new Pac-Man design that isn't creepy, please go for the Tilt/Party Pac-Man, Sakurai.

Yep. The last major Sonic title at the time was Sonic 06 and he was way lankier than his regular modern design.
Not really. Intall base ratio is far superior to 1:4 for WiiU-3DS.

I always liked it as well. That design is also used in the Miyamoto developed Pac-Man Vs. on the Gamecube.
If Pac-Man Vs. doesn't come out on the Wii U I will barf up power pellets.
I mean from a nostalgia point of view: The version of Pac-Man that inspires nostalgia isn't the yellow blob with hands and feet, it's the hungry piechart

Villager looks so badass. Can't wait to play with him.
I think the new game is just a tie-in. Namco is still using the other design for some things. I saw someone on here post a picture of a Pac-Man render behind some virtual store with a classic Pac-Man hat, and the render was the Tilt/Party one.
I think he'd work fine as long as they use the Pac-Man from Tilt/Party and not the show.
The differences are subtle but you'd be surprised how not creepy Tilt/Party Pac-Man is.
I have no issue with this pac-man it is adorable.
Also I have no issue with new pac man either, are we supposed to have nostalgia for the old one? This one just got blue eyes meng. All the same to me, or at least similar.
