Umm well, if they are under the same family umbrella account, then it's fine of course. If they're completely independent, it may cause problems. I don't think Nintendo wants people claiming multiple elite rewards per household.

Yeah more than likely it wouldn't be a problem. It's just one of those red flags that could alert Nintendo to a possible misuse of the program. Like when one individual has two accounts, which is technically not allowed.

Well I claimed 3 posters and got my $30 credit for SMTIV today - the $30 credit makes up for the poor choices for hitting platinum, I guess.
The best award I think they've had was the little SMB statue with all the characters from the game. Wish they would have stuff like that again, as that was the main reason I keep entering codes for coins.

Went to log in and my account was deactivated. I have to wait until 11am est to call and get an explanation. I'm going to be really upset if its not reactivated.

That makes sense, since they have to figure out how many copies they will need before they can go ahead and produce them. None of us will be getting these for a few months.
It's going to be December before we get them I wouldn't worry.

I just went ahead and got the posters. The sizes are actually a decent size and I'm going to get the Pikmin print framed for my wife (she loves Pikmin). Would look kindof cool in our office.
Looking at the regular CN rewards is depressing.
I have never seen their stock this low. 14 items, missing any high coin items. I was expecting a restock on July 1st like last month.
I have 2100 coins to spend. I worry that the one day I don't check them, they will add gold-wiiU gamepads or something haha.

Mario Kart 7 trophies rebranded to Mario Kart 8 for its release next Spring? More limited edition items like being able to get the Year of Luigi coin from CN?
Hope so. Yeah, after that Kirby coin fiasco last year where they were put up and gone in a few hours, don't want to miss something.

IMO the MM CD would be easier to ship. Unless they use the original roll for the posters it could get messy. Plus I think the shipping costs would be higher for a poster roll.

I got platinum this year and the rewards are terrible. Spend $500 dollars, and choose your $1 gift at the end of the year. I'm never doing another nintendo survey.
Also they're still giving out Wii VC rewards and nothing for Wii U. Way to reward your most loyal fans...

Mine has been giving me a maintenance error for like a week now too, but I knew the site could still be accessed by following a link to the rewards or other pages. Also on Chrome.
I just went there, sure enough it still said maintenance. I hit Ctrl+F5 and it's back to normal.

I'll keep doing the surveys. It's my only way to bitch at them about the virtual console. Plus I earned enough coins to redeem for several games this year. I don't care about the physical rewards, so I can see your point there.

So I just got a copy of Sin & Punishment for the Wii, which is 50 points, but I've already reached Platinum (for 2013-14).
How often do Nintendo Points get reduced/removed on titles? I'm wondering if I should redeem it now to get its max value or if I should wait a year?

As far as I know, it's only happened once -- July 2012, and they gave us advance notice of about a month. Before then, no game's point value had ever decreased. I think some people were worried it would be an annual thing from here on out, but looks like we're safe... for now. And hopefully they'll give us notice again.
Sometimes the expiration date is written on the insert.
Sin and Punishment in particular has an expiration date of 6/27/2014. So yeah, if you want anything at all for it you'll have to redeem it this CN year.

I just went through some of my older Wii games. So far, only Sin and Punishment has the expiration on the code pamphlet, but I assume the 5 year rule applies to all games? S&P's code only lasted 4 years, going by its release date.

Hmmm, my "new" copy of Sin and Punishment didn't come with a Club Nintendo code, which is annoying (bought it from EB Games, which is Gamestop Canada, and they often gut the last copy of a game to put it on shelves... guessing an employee threw out or used the code for himself).
I emailed Nintendo asking for a code (which I guess I'll have to use this year even though I've already reached platinum).
Not a huge deal if I don't get it though, considering I only paid $1 for what should be a cool game, but it will make me think twice about buying the last new copy of a CN game at EB.

They send you a download code which you can give away if you want.
I guess someone could gift you a game through the Wii shop to trade or whatever.
I went through mine as well, and found four unused codes without an expiration date. The oldest of them was Wario Land: Shake It, which was released in September 2008. It's only worth 20 coins now, but I just registered it immediately. Guessing it would expire this September.
It seems to me that they officially changed it from 5 years to 4 years in 2010. Two of my unused codes without printed expiration dates were released in the first half of 2010 so I'll probably have to use them now.

Man I hope I didn't mess up. I got my 3DS XL just a few days ago, decided that I'm gonna take advantage of the Fire Emblem + SMTIV promotion. I bought both games off the eShop and since I've never been a Club Nintendo member, signed up and linked my 3DS after I've purchased the games.
I went on the Club Nintendo site to look at the T&Cs and it says you're supposed to sign up and link your Club Nintendo account before you buy the games... Why? I hope I can somehow claim my coupon. If anyone knows anything about this I'd really appreciate it.

You can contact support and they should be able to add them if they don't show up after a day or two.

Has anyone ordered the reversible pouch reward? Now that I've gotten Animal Crossing, I've been taking my 3DS XL on the go more and I need a proper case for it.

It's just a faux-velvet bag. It'll stop scratches I suppose, but that's about it.
